Firehouse Subs Bradenton — Restaurant in Florida

So sad to leave a negative review. I noticed a huge decrease in quality since my last visit 5 years ago. Green peppers and cucumber were MINCED. I just don’t understand why cut something into the most inefficient way to go on a SUB. Then a $3 upcharge for a gluten free roll, but I’m 98% sure they gave me a regular wheat bun as I am in agony. Atmosphere has changed and they did away with the hot sauce bar. Plenty of great restaurants continue to have hot sauce bars post-Covid. If they could fix these issues, I might come back, but at this point having received something I’m allergic to it will be another 5 years till I try again… if ever. Worst customer service in Bradenton. I just waited 25 minutes for a meatball sub. I noticed a roach crawling on the floor as I was waiting. This places is loaded with bugs. You have been warned. I went there to get dinner to go with my daughter when we walked in nobody said hello. They had two employees that were working as far as I could see and two more customers in the building. One employee I could see was probably doing a catering order and the other was busy it looked like decorating for Christmas.
