Peach Cobbler Factory Bradenton — Restaurant in South Bradenton

Whenever I am in Sarasota I have to visit this store. Why? Because I get a mean sweet tooth instantly. Today I purchased a Peach Cobbler and a milkshake. Everything was good but I have to tell you that Strawberry Cobbler Milkshake was a dessert all by itself. It was so rich and decadent.

The service there is always good. They greet you with kindness and explain the flavors or any questions you might have when making a purchase.

The store is big enough for a crowd with a couple of tables and chairs. The bright orange color is cheerful.

My son and I swung by at 7:15 pm looking forward to a special treat. There were customers inside waiting for their order to be filled. We were told by a man at the register that they were closed and that he had put a sign on the door. We must have missed it because a customer held the door open for us. He explained how they had run out of Peach Cobbler and some other things. I asked if we could purchase something else that they did have available. His response was "No, we are closed". I was shocked that a business who is normally open until 10 pm would turn away customers in this way at 7:15 pm. This doesn't seem like a very smart business move especially if you have inventory. Limited inventory is better than no inventory. I am not impressed with this management style. This is terrible customer service! ...

Was greeted by the friendliest staff I have encountered in a while. The very nice gentleman taking our order at the register made our decision so easy. My bestie wanted cobblers and I wanted brownies. He indicated why not do a float(boat). LOL can't remember what it was called because at this point I thought I was in chocolate heaven..lol So he said we have never done a brownie float but we will do one for you now. And sure enough the crew on the back end knocked it out of the park. Thank you for telling us the story of the owners journey of opening this store and why, as we all shed a tear together standing in the middle of the lobby.
