Previously I’ve written a review for Mike the sales person and gave this experience a 5 star review. Mike was amazing I won’t take that back.
However, the furniture purchased here from Mike has been a nightmare from 6 months after purchase and reaching out for help to resolve the issue has been nothing but a headache. We purchased a power reclining sofa set (3 seat couch and love seat), both motors went on each piece of furniture leaving one sofa out in the reclining position and one unable to recline. Within 6 months and they’ve been lightly used since we are hardly home. After reaching out and getting someone to take a long through warranty, the tech didn’t bother to test any parts the first time, took a picture and ordered the wrong part. Having to go through the process all over again, the second tech couldn’t help since the part was wrong and ordered another part. Having to wait a whole month for it to come in. We tried to get a hold of someone in corporate, “Angela” who returned the call couldn’t transfer the call to her supervisor because SHE felt like the issue was resolved with a credit of $25. We’d like the couches to just be exchanged considering it’s been 5 months since they haven’t been working and still no resolution. Will NEVER recommend or buy another product from ANY Rooms to Go. We though purchasing here we’d get better quality furniture and instead we have over priced low quality furniture with the added warranty that needs to be paid for in case anything happens, who have no drive to help...
Read moreMy salesman, Jon, was amazing! I have back problems. He was able to find me the perfect mattress and added on the adjustable bed-frame bed-frame Jon was extremely knowledgeable and was able and answer all my questions. Very excited for my new bed
This has to be changed from 5 stars to 1 star due to the following:
Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene not only destroyed my home with over 4 ft. of water throughout, I lost almost everything I owned of course, my bed was included in that & only being a few months old too. I contacted the company to explain my situation AND the fact that the salesman flat out lied to me and my friend that was there. We specifically inquired if the insurance policy I was advised to purchase would cover me incase of God forbid we have a Hurricane AND we were told it was. I tried to have the company work with me and see what we could do since it was only a few months old and the last thing on my mind was making a payment for a bed I no longer had when I was trying to figure out what my next move was to get through everything I was dealing with. They were extremely rude and offered absolutely no empathy toward my situation what so ever. I was hoping they would let me out of my contract or allow me to get new furniture when I finally had a home and not a friend's couch or hotel room. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY...
Read moreDon't waste you money on any extended warranty. Buy shower caps and plastic covers instead. It is true what locals say about this place. They sell disposable furniture.
We purchased a new leather or faux leather couch with the motors that looked great and we also purchased the warranty. The sales man told us that if these is a stain spill or motor problem it will be fixed at no charge, Ha ha on me for believing the sales guy. Less than a year later we noticed the leather turned a yellow color and filed a claim. Part of one of the couch head rests discolored so we called Rooms to Go and they said sure we will send someone out to look at cleaning or repair. They showed up on time and said we will replace that part of the couch. The RTG guy said he would order a new head rest and it would arrive at our home, but after a few weeks nothing arrived. We called RTG a few weeks later and were told that it was faulty hair products that created the problem and it was not covered. Odd as we really do not use any hair products on the back of our head or neck. I guess that we will now have to pass out shower caps to all guests with a RTG logo on it so the couch does not get any worse. As the saying goes the stuff lasts a few...
