Where do I start..hmm..the server and/or person answering the phone needs better training or maybe just needs to listen. Ordered 2 orders of potato skins, mozz sticks, and a 20 inch pizza. First off, we had a good 2 minute conversation about how many came in the order of potato skins. She said 4 or 5. I then went to say, "ok, I would like 2 orders then because that isnt alot." She literally repeated that back to me even. I received only 1 order. I wasn't charged for a 2nd, but when I called back to be sure, she said I only said 1 when we literally had a conversation about it. Whatever, is what it is. 2nd thing we talked about on the phone was the pizza and the crust sizes. I asked what the typical lunch sizes are, she said like a medium thickness crust. I said, "ok, lets go that route. 20 inch pepperoni". Well, unfortunately, I received a very paper thin grease paper circle with cheese and pepperoni on it. Never in my life have I seen crust that thin. It was horrible, And mind you, I was very excited to try this place. On The good side of things, the food was delivered very fast, like 25 mins. And the potato Akins I DID GET, were absolutely awesome, along with the mozz sticks.
I read alot of the reviews before ordering, and it seems that the issue lies within the servers. As for the pizza though, probably the worst pie I've ever had. Seemed like the ingredients were good, but it was prepared and put together horribly.
I Have no doubt if the crust was thicker like we talked about, it could've been a homerun. But unfortunately, it all starts with the person taking your order.
2 stars for the fast delivery and good potato skins.
Delivery driver was also nice, fast and polite. I gladly tipped him well for that. Definitely a good face for the place at least with the great...
Read moreI would give it 0 stars if possible. Four co-workers and I ordered lunch today. It arrived over an hour after we orderd and was cold. One co-worker ordered the house salad which according to the menu has lettuce, tomato and cucumber. She received a salad w/ onions, peppers, and olives. When we called to let them know, we were told she was given the correct salad and that they didn't know what their own menu said! We asked for the correct one to be brought and were told they had too many deliveries to come all the way over. They refused a refund and told us they would give us a house credit. We had to call again and argue with them in order to receive a refund. We certainly will not be ordering from here again. My issues are: 1. No apology was provided. We understand things happen and a simple apology goes a long way. 2. If we are too far for someone to come back, then they shouldn't deliver to us. If they were busy, then they should have offered to have us go pick it up, offered the credit or a refund immediately. 3. The person who answered our call argued that we received the correct salad, that's how it's made in the kitchen. The description on their menu isn't even close to what was received other than lettuce. Again, an apology, the wrong one was sent and an offer to fix the situation. 4. The pizza was cold! If you're going to deliver food that should be at least warm, invest in hot bags to insulate the food instead of the paper bags they...
Read moreVg thin crust pizza. Overpriced very bad meatball sandwich and sausage sandwich and not getting what was ordered. I asked for a to go menu. I was told that they were out of them. Since my order was so simple I told the counter person I wanted one meatball sandwich and one sausage sandwich to go. Very easy order. The charge was $19.89. I figured these must be the largest sandwiches that I would ever see. I took them home and my wife and I opened the containers. We were shocked. Both sandwiches were covered in melted cheese (parmigiana) which we did not ask for. The meatball sandwich had 3 smallish meatballs and they were basically "bread balls with some meat". The sausage sandwich had onions and peppers on it. Again I had not asked for onions and peppers. A traditional meatball sandwich has meatballs, in plentiful proportions and sauce, period. A traditional sausage sandwich has sausage and sauce, period. The other items are only added if the customer asks for them and then there is an additional charge for the add ons. Meatballs are supposed to be MEAT with enough bread crumbs to hold the meatball together. They are not supposed to be breadballs with some meat. Adding gigantic amounts of bread crumbs has one purpose, to make the meatball more profitable by reducing the quantity of the more costly meat. These items may pass in Florida but by NJ standards, one of the homes of great Italian cooking, this stuff is trash...
