My family and I are in Orlando for a short vacation, with a couple of friends and grandkids, 8 of us all together. So for our first night here, what better way to feed everyone than pizza. Right? So I googled pizza places near me and found Fratello's and even though local relatives told me it was only so so, I decided to order it anyway. I wanted to try something new. Well, I should have listened to the locals. EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE! I ordered this $120 order online. We had a pick up time set. We got there at the pick up time and had to wait 15 minutes for the wings to be cooked. When we got home with the food we were not happy. The pizza tasted like it had been cooked an hour ago -- not hot at all. It had very little sauce and not much cheese or other toppings. The wings on the other hand was very hot, and had a good flavor, but they were not edible because they were cooked way too long, and I mean way too long, Absolutely terrible!. Fortunately, kids eat pizza, even terrible pizza, which is why places like CiCi's and little Caesar's and Dominoes can stay in business. However, in hindsight, I wish I had ordered from one of them, it would have been a lot better and not cost me $120!!!!!! I've always been told education cost. Well I've learned a very expensive lesson: NEVER EAT AT FRATELLO'S!
One final note: As I read through the reviews, I find there are a lot of great reviews, and I am happy for those customers. However, I also see there are a lot bad reviews too, and most all of them are similar to mine, which means this is an ongoing problem. However, on all of the bad the review Fratello's seems to be quick in responding and saying "we're sorry, we'll do better, we have higher standards". Well, since I read similar reviews to mine that date back 5 years, it seems they have yet to "make it...
Read moreUnprofessional, discourteous , and immature. These are the three words that best describe fratello's customer service .
Three weeks ago, I had an incorrect order, and called to make a complaint. A woman who took my order, then again answered my call back. I informed her that the order she took was incorrect. I said To the woman "you must have not been listening clearly to me, because I was very slow and coherent making my order." She didn't like this , and she hung up on me.
I called again and made a complaint to the manager , who offered food compensation, I refused and said the issue wasn't the pizza any longer. A simple apology , and a "we will do right next time," would have been fine , but now, I'm being mistreated by the staff. I asked them to please do something about the employee and said goodbye. (Know that I only was expecting discipline or a write up, not a termination)
Now this is where the issue becomes a true example of Fratello's immaturity ...
I called just a few hours ago, willing to give them another try, and I was blown off. First I called and a man answered the phone , he said I was breaking up, I said I'll call back. When I called back the same woman I had an issue with 3 weeks ago then answered . I said "can I please speak with the man I was just talking to," and she replied, "your breaking up"... There was no issues when I immediately used my phone to call Marcos pizza :/
Now, the fact I was breaking up once is understandable, but twice , and that she was the person to pick up after I IMMEDIATELY called back....tells me everything .
Fratello's is full of childish behavior, and rude employees. Order at...
Read moreWorst food and customer service. About 11:15am I placed an online order for 2 orders of chicken strips and an Italian sub. At about 12:45 when the food finally shows up It is brought to my door by a 7-8 year old(for real) who hands me the food and runs back to the car. I open the chicken (my kids are starving) and it was WAY over cooked, like breaded chicken jerky overcooked. Then I open the sub and it is literally a soggy roll with 1 slice of ham, 3 pepperoni and a piece of salami cut in half, that's it. No lettuce, tomato, onion, no sauce of any kind(even though the menu said it came with those things). It also said it came with a side of fries, it didn't. Within 5 minutes of delivery I called the restaurant and told them I didn't want the food they could come pick it back up. The man that answers says he didn't make the food and would have his manager call me when he got in, about 10 minutes. 30 minutes and no call later I called back and the manager said he made the food and nothing was wrong with it, if I wanted my money back I would have to get it from "Slice". I didn't even realize that I had ordered from a 3rd party as it was in their website. Called slice they said the restaurant was refusing to refund my money. After treating to just put a stop on my card slice offered me a refund out of their pocket but they still have to pay them. It makes me mad. A bunch of...
