I recently try Half Moon Empanadas, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Here’s why I’m so impressed:

Ordered a 3 cheese empanada, spinach empanada and then I tried to order the guava empanada and the guy working said I couldn't get Guava because there were only 2 left and the order came with 3. When I asked if I could still have the 2 at a discounted price he said no. I work in customer service and this place has zero of it. If I could give them a quarter star I would. They even have a sign that says if you don't like the food they will refund you and give you something different and that customers feedback is very important. Well if you just look at the reviews on google you'll see that the customer doesn't seem to be a top priority to this place. It doesn't even look like anyone responds to the tons of bad...

Rude staff work here. They don’t tell you this, but they do not have ANY sweet empanadas in the morning. Their other empanadas are shipped in from outside and feel like they are microwaved before displaying. They are incredibly small for the not so cheap $5 each price. Honestly not worth going at all and I would go anywhere else to eat.

EDIT: After trying all the empanadas, I added one star back. The chicken, beef, and spinach and cheese empanadas are not too bad even though they don’t taste fresh. I would avoid the pulled pork empanada, as it just tastes bad and doesn’t work well in an empanada.
