This place is ok until you have an issue with thier quality service which can happen from time to time in any line of business. I eaten here many times before and the food have always been acceptable in my opinion until I had an issue with the uber eats delivery to my job for lunch. The order arrived was near but not quite what I ordered, however it was messed up. I called them several times right after receiving the order to complain, or to get an understanding on how to handle the matter, and/or how to get a resolution reference the issue at hand but they never answered the phone so because to no avail, I threw the food away for unsatisfactory. The next day on Feb 8th around 2:10pm, i decided to visit the resturant since it was near my job to express my complaint due to they were the one who messed up my order and not uber eats or the driver. As I attempted to complain to the manager/supervisor, he was not business minded towards me as a customer. He over talked me, I couldnt get a word in, he wouldn't let me give him a solution to the problem nor attempted to satisfy me as a customer. He continued to state to me the resturant benefits while disregarding me as a repeatedly valuable customer's benefits, not to mention I'm in law enforcement so as a professional, I just departed the restaurant without further attempt to discuss. (Although a customer should be treated as a customer regardless to thier profession or satisfactory but just imagine how others will be treated,) I won't eat there again because the leader allowed me to walk away as an unhappy customer and didn't give a care, concern, or attempted to fix the problem. To the owner, if you read this review, if this manager/supervisor keeps up this type of behavior, he will be your business' downfall because at this point, i dont recommend family, friends, or the unknown public to Hungry Bear in Doral because the leadership is terrible and if you're not satisfied with your issue, it won't be reticified unless this was just a discriminatory issue. If it wasnt, then we as unpleased customers...
Read moreThis experience is based on an employee interaction with an elderly customer.
After calling the location Three times to report the incident with all calls going to a dead end answering machine I decided to share my experience here.
I happened to visit today during a quieter time and overheard a conversation with the order processor and an elderly gentlemen who ordered a small tuna sub.
The price was $13.70 which seemed to surprise the elderly gentleman and when he questioned the price, the order processor repeated the price stearnly and said canât you hear me?
After a brief delay in interaction I stepped to the counter and put $15.00 on the counter to pay for the elderly gentlemanâs sub and went back to my booth.
The order processor refused my willingness to pay for the Sub and approached my booth with the payment and said he personally would not allow me to pay for the gentlemenâs sub.
Keep in mind the Gentleman didnât asked for anything free or otherwise, I could tell he was surprised by the cost.
I asked why and he didnât provide a good explanation and said he didnât understand why I would be upset by him not allowing me to pay for the...
Read moreThis is one of the best sub shops you could ever hope to find. The food is absolutely amazing, from the bread to the cheeses to the meats. Nothing pre-processed everything fresh and tasty. You have to try this place. You owe it to yourself.
I have to amend my review downward. I was there 2 days ago on Thursday and brought a friend. The guy taking the orders was not friendly which I can accept. The old guy at the cash register was downright surly. My friend's order was wrong and neither of us had any seasoning on the meat. It was utterly flavorless. To be fair this is the first bad meal I've ever had their and I would forgive the food and chalk it up to an inexperienced cook. But the attitude from the guy at the cash register put me off. And that their new prices which are astronomical there's really no reason to go back. The food prices are getting close to sit-down...
