Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Florida

Save your time and do not go to this location! I ordered a pizza by phone for pickup at this location. When arriving all the way across town where I was meeting someone they didn't seem to be very welcoming but that was ok.

I Told them by name and they told me it was thrown out! When I went to ask why they said if your not here in 30 mins or less we throw it out. Well first off they didn't say this on the phone nor mention anything about it regardless if they say it's there policy they should make it clear, Secondly I believe it was right at 30 minutes. When I asked why didn't you just let me know that on the phone they spoke over me rudely and didn't care to hear me out as a customer or consider anything I was saying.

They continued to be rude and more abrasive leaning towards their view point and not at all willing to try to consider any mistake on not informing me of any policy or the consideration of their customer. He made it more like "sorry" but we don't care! Worse then the problem of bad business is the bad relationship they convey with this way of being and honestly it's just not worth dealing with people like this. If you've visited this store you'd probably know what I mean. That also was both the manager and the person at the register. This is the most underrated pizza place in town and they're not just pizza they do a lot more than just pizza! I can tell you all about the menu but you can see that for yourself, this place always comes in clutch as in every time you go there and each person gets their order you're guaranteed to be so happy with their food and quality. More importantly than anything else when every restaurant I called in the area to place it to go order more than an hour before close wouldn't answer at all, I made it to hungry Howie's just under a half an hour before close she was cleaning up and I asked if they were still open and taking orders she said yes of course and gladly took my order and the food was absolutely perfect down to the salad with the extra dressing I asked for I couldn't be happier give them a try and see what you think!

I just got home from ordering my pizza. This young man took my order, typed on the keyboard that has never been cleaned, put his hands all over the counters, knobs, etc. That is not the problem. The problem is he never washed his hands before he picked up my pizza crust. After I had him wash his hands and get a new crust, he still continued to touch everything.

He said he was going to put on gloves, which he did and still continued to touch everything in sight. What good are the gloves if he touches everything?

I told him if I were his boss I would fire him. His comeback "They already did that and hired me back". Unbelievable.

The pizza was fine, the help not so much. This location needs to train their staff. I will never go back and will not speak highly of Hungry Howies Pizza after...
