I am a regular customer who frequently orders from this location on the weekends. And it has been a very good experience until now. On March 13, we ordered two large two-topping pizza deals for 8.99 each plus one large one-topping plus cheezer bread deal for 11.99. As advertised, it should have added up to (9+9+12=30), before tax, a simple math. However, our ticket showed $31.96 before tax. At the pick up, I asked the cashier why our charge was more than what's been advertised, she simply said it's the computer and referred me to the Manager Clay S. Mr. Clay came to the counter, and after listening to my question, he SNATCHED receipt out of my hand, voided the entire transaction, and redid the transaction in the computer grudgingly, and the charge was still at $31.96 before tax. I explained again it's the simple math of 9+9+12=30, unless he had an explanation. He asked me if I thought the computer was wrong, and I replied yes if he couldn't explain the overcharge. At that moment, he abruptly removed the entire order from the counter and said "have a nice day" and retreated to the back of the kitchen with the order. I asked for his name and he did not respond. And I overheard he began using with the "f" word while fuming about my complaint over $2. I was left there for a few minutes, until Ricky the assistant manager came to the counter with our order. He added the bill up with his calculator on his phone and agreed that I was being overcharged by the computer. He promptly reduced the bill to the advertised price and apologized for the situation. I obtained Clay's name from him and I was told he was the store manager. I thanked Ricky for his assistance and announced to Clay that I will be contacting his boss about his behavior. Upon returning to home, we also realized that one of our orders was wrong. We ordered ground beef, onion with Garlic Herb crust, but it was ground beef, BLACK OLIVE with BUTTER GARLIC crust instead. I called back and Ricky confirmed that that was not the reason that our ticket was $2.00 higher than it should have been. I reported the incident to both Hungry Howie corporate three weeks ago and their local franchisee office twice, two weeks ago and one week ago respectively, and stated I was not interested in getting the manager fired but would like to hear back from them about the incident. Up to today, I still have not heard back from either offices. I guess both the corporate and the owner thought that was OK to treat your...
Read moreBloomingdale and Kings, Brandon Florida. Always double check your order before you leave this location. As a mom, every single time I order from here I end up eating cold food because they have forgotten something or burned my food and I’ve had to go back to get it replaced. Only one time did they give me something extra and it was a cookie pizza and it was because I asked for it because I’ve had enough. But they are the closest pizza joint to me so this is what I get. But management, seriously retrain your staff. If they put food in the window, it needs to be correct. Why are they sending out burnt pizza and incorrect orders? I was finally not insanely exhausted tonight and was able to remember to check the boxes before leaving. And sure enough they messed up my order so I had to stay in there and wait until they fixed it. Granted it didn’t take a super long time, but they are consistent in that they jack up every single one of my orders. I stopped ordering extra pepperoni when I realized they were only putting three or four extra pieces on the pie. I may have to go the extra distance and find a better place. Edited to add, sure enough I just got home. I ordered cheese bread and they sent me home with Howie bread. I have been eating there for three years now. I ordered there at least once a month. That’s approximately 36 times I have ordered from there and 36 times I have not gotten an order right. Y’all need to do...
Read moreIt's not terrible pizza. I love the pizza. But my issue was when I ordered a specific pizza and it was covered in bacon. I cannot have pork as I cannot digest it properly .The pizza ordered didn't even have bacon to begin with. Also, the delivery man wasnt even paying attention when he gave me my order and gave me someone else's order then had to come back to get it. I order from the bloomingdale quite frequently. When I called the establishment, they tried to dismiss me and attempted to hang up quickly. I didn't want to create a fuss, but I physically couldn't eat what i was given. Before we hung up they said they would reimburse me with a free medium pizza for the troubles. Mind you, this happened last week. Yesterday, I called the place and told them the situation and the guy continued to tell me that I never ordered. When I first began to explain the situation, he clearly said "oh sh**" and had me on mute while I explained. I order from the same number each time, everything was the same. They refused to give me something as simple as a free pizza for messing up my pizza and for the troubles the delivery guy created. I don't want a free pizza anymore, but I will not be ordering from the bloomingdale...
