If you're looking for really good pizza, calzones, flatbreads, salads, and unique appetizers, this is your place! I have been there many times now and if invited new friends to join and the consensus is that their portions and the taste of the food are excellent.
They have three sizes of pizza and two different types: thin crust and deep dish. Both are delicious and very well thought out and made. I have had both types and now preferably thin crust pizza. It's not quite like the thin crust pizza from takeout places that you're used to. But it is still thin and has all the flavor you would expect. The deep dish pizza is just that, deep. It is more like a pizza pie because they do slice it and serve it like a pie. It is very tall and holds a lot of ingredients depending on what you order and how you want it. They have a create your own where you can choose up to five toppings to have on it or in it. With a thin crust pizza on it and with the Deep Crust Pizza it's in it.
You do get unlimited soft drinks and they have other beverages available as well, but I cannot comment on them since I always order a soft drink. The staff is very friendly and personable and will help you with menu selections or questions you may have.
The dining room is a good size and has both tables and booths with high backs, and since the kitchen is nearby you always get the wonderful smells coming out of it to entice you. I have not yet ordered one thing that I disliked or had to send back or was disappointed about.
It is visible from the street and set back a bit at an intersection which makes it easy to get into and out of. Since it shares a parking lot with other businesses, there is no worry about parking. They tend to maintain a steady flow of customers and at certain times and some nights, they can get very busy with a wait usually no longer than 25 minutes or so. There are two benches inside against the wall in the waiting area and room enough to stand before the podium or outside as you wait for your table or booth.
I do recommend and go continue to recommend this place for anyone who loves Italian food in general but...

That being said, the service was absolutely horrible. When I arrived with my fiance and 4 y/o son we were told it would be a 5 minute wait for a table. No problem. 10-12 minutes later (still not problem) we were seated. 5-10 minutes later someone who seemed to be a waitress asked if "someone has come up to us" yet. She proceeded to take our drinks and order right away, since we already knew what we wanted by that point.
Soon after ordering, she returned with our first round of drinks; then goes not to be seen for the next 25-30 minutes. We didn't see her once until our food came out. No drink refills, no "how are you doing", nothing. Our food comes out, its pretty good, she gets us more drinks, then disappears again until we are all done eating, and waiting for the check. At this point it has been about 5-10 minutes since we all finished eating. Having not seen our waitress since the brought our food, we were still waiting to get the check - or even tell her we were ready for the check.
Finally the check arrives, she says take your time, I look it over and get my card out then set it on the table. I tell my fiance to take our son to the car while I pay quick... I am not even joking when I say it was another 10-15 minutes before she even came to pick up the check and my card; and after all of that, ironically, she was back in less than a minute with my receipt after charging my card. Seems she was only interested in being quick when it was time to take my money and get her tip - and of course I still tipped because I was raised...
Read moreI couldn't make this up. I came on here initially a few hours ago to find the phone number to make a to go order. I was going to review it then but I got side-tracked. A few hours passed, my husband calls me saying that they gave him the wrong pizza but he was almost late getting back to work so he just ate it. He asked me to call and inquire about the order. Ordered chicken ranch, got buffalo somehow ( which I didn't even know they had.) I've only been there a handful of times, it's far out the way. I called to explain it to the manager and she sat there with what seems like minutes of dead awkward silence as if she was new to customer service or as if this mistake was going to come directly out of her paycheck. She was unbelievably rude, which I couldn't understand because I wasn't. She told me that the cashier rang it in as a buffalo pizza, I told her my husband doesn't like spicy food and that I didn't even know they had buffalo. We have only ordered three things ever from there, I don't even know what the menu looks like, we ordered from pure recommendation. The pizza is excellent and fresh but I'm sitting here battling if I will just continue to eat sub par pizza on my side of town rather than ever patronize this place again for insinuating that I would call out the blue for a free pizza when I am not even sure the next time I'll be near the place to even use the credit. I am LIVID. Moral of the story...handle your ppl with care because a glowing review can turn into a scathing one very very quickly. I have learned to never disregard negative...
