DO NOT GO HERE! Unprofessional and unreasonable! I used to be a regular here - never again. My regular tech was out so I had to try someone new. I explained I wanted a âshort medium lengthâ and for some reason that was âhard to do for the shape and designâ I wanted ( I never heard this before considering my design was very simple)- but it was kept long and I thought âokay not a big dealâ. They took 2 hours applying the nails and filing them -only for me to find out the artist DID not know how to execute the design I asked for. I watched them attempt it over and over again until I intervened and said âletâs just do something basicâ STILL giving them the benefit of the doubt because the nails were applied nicely. I asked for a âpink clear base with a cut crease French tipâ. The artist painted the clear coat over a completely different color and then did NOT do the cut crease tip. At this point - I wonât even have time to do the pedicure I came in for because I had another appointment at 1. I said âif your not able to do the cut crease then I guess just take it off and we will leave it clear since I have to go in 1 hourâ instead of trying to fix it - he took it all off and left it clear. At this point Iâm disappointed but willing to pay because atleast he did the nails. The artist wanted to charge me $70 for the work. This threw me off because he didnât execute anything I asked for and Iâve paid the SAME price here ($70) for an ACTUAL set and design. All he did was the nails a length I didnât want and a clear coat that was a color I didnât ask for. I didnt understand why I was being charged so much. I explained I wasnât comfortable paying that amount. If something can be fixed or the price adjusted Iâd have no issue paying. They got loud and argumentative with me saying itâs my fault for not stopping him (even though I stopped him multiple times throughout the process) I was forced to get the service he was able to provide. Not the service I came in asking for. He should have been transparent about what he was about to do or not. I said âif you canât adjust the price then cut them offâ and the boss tried to tell me she will cut them off âafter I payâ which made NO sense. At this point I could see they were just upset and wanted money out of me. I politely asked for her to cut it off because I can not comfortably pay $70 for this level of service. I was STILL going to tip him for his time and effort until they both got nasty and loud with me. Unwilling to correct their work or adjust the price reasonably. This was the worse experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Never go here.
UPDATE: the boss is accusing me of trying to avoid paying when I was the one offering to still pay at an adjusted price for the incorrect service I was provided. Sheâs a LIAR ! Donât give them a dollar of your hard...
Read moreBeware! Came here for the first time for a full set. I asked for regular polish because I just do a pinky-clear topcoat with no color and to me that does not need to be gel. I was told they didnât even carry regular polish (?). I didnât want to argue and just got gel anyway. I was pretty happy with my set. My nails lasted about a month, which is pretty normal for me. I came back in for a fill. At this appointment I overheard another customer asking for regular polish and the owner fighting her on it not wanting to do it. After the customer kept insisting she didnât want gel the owner finally gave in and did regular polish⌠this rubbed me the wrong way as I felt lied to in order to spend more money. Then I had a nail randomly fall off after only 1 week. This was the first fill on a new set, a nail shouldnât just easily pop off in 1 week. I also had a crack in another nail. I called in and explained the situation and that I needed a repair and they said I could come in. I sat down and had the 2 nails repaired in less than 20 mins. To my shock they tried charging me for this. I have been getting my nails done for over a decade and have never had to pay for a repair when itâs that soon after getting them done. The nail tech even remembered how many coats she did on my nails and the color, thatâs how recent it was. I explained I wasnt going to pay for a nail repair when I shouldnât have to come back in the first place due to the timeline. The nail literally just fell off⌠didnât even feel it or any pressure. The owner from across the shop was saying how ânails donât fall off and you had to of done somethingâ lol⌠I agree they shouldnât just fall off. Thatâs the problem. If you canât guarantee your nails for a week thatâs bad. She âallowedâ me to go without paying for the repair. Good thing I stuck up for myself because within the following week 4 more nails popped off. I had to take the rest off because I saw a FUNGAL INFECTION on 2 of those nails. Beware. They donât care about you and only want...
Read moreGoing into the appointment I showed the nail tech a picture of exactly what I wanted. She looked at it but did not refer back to it at all. I took that lightly because it was just a basic square shape with a thin French tip. As she started I realized the shape was not at all what I wanted that the thickness of the nail was far from natural (which is what I asked for). I told her my concerns and told her which nails I did not like at all and after âfixing themâ, they looked exactly the same. So at what point do you just give up and let them do whatever they are doing. When it came time to do the French tip it was extremely thick and did not look like the picture at all. I showed her again and she changed nothing. I finished with my nails and went to the pedicure chair (different lady) and while getting my pedicure. The lady saw me looking at my nails over and over again and asked if I liked them and I said âhonestly noâ. She called the lady who did my nails over and I voiced my concerns and she started arguing with me. I am one for sticking up for myself but I am not going to go back and forth with a worker in a salon, especially when there are a ton of other people around. After she told me I was wrong and that the shape I wanted was âcoffin and not squareâ I just gave up. She then told me she would âfix it the next time I came in for a fill.â It felt like she was doing this so that I would HAVE to come back in and spend more money. I then had to go home and file them as best I could to the shape I like, and that I when I noticed just how thick and ugly they are. Every nail is slanted in an upward angle and there is a noticeable gap between my acrylic and my cuticle. You would think I had these nails on for 2 weeks. Not 2 days. Itâs unfortunate how poor of costumer service this experience was because I have just moved to Florida and I was excited to try somewhere new. 0/10 experience. I would not...
