Just left IHOP 36-107. Usually we get breakfast. We decided to get dinner for once. We got there about 6:00 pm tonight. Stood for a few minutes until someone acknowledged us, a waitress arrived and took us to the seat. Stopped halfway to bring menus to another table while we stood there, then took us to a table. She then proceeded to wipe the table down while we stood there and another waitress handed us a paper towel so we could wipe off our own seats before we sat. Then we sat down...and waited. Only four booths occupied in the whole place. And waited. After another 5 minutes or so, the waitress came up and asked for our drinks. Then we waited...and waited. Finally she came back and got my wife's drink wrong. She then went to get another. When she came back, I asked if we could get a menu to look at. We had been there already for 20 minutes by this time. She brought us menus. We ordered and waited some more. And waited. After another 20 minutes passed without our waitress even looking our way and totally ignoring us, I was ready to leave. My wife wanted to wait a little longer. Another 10 minutes pass and I'm getting my wallet out to leave $5 on the table for the three drinks that we didn't finish, and the waitress comes out with the food. Ok...fine...make the best of it, I'm starving at this point. Food is cold. I don't mean fridge cold, I mean same temp as the air cold. I ask for my check because now, I'm long past ready to leave and just want to eat quickly and get out. Waitress totally ignores us for the next 10 minutes. Finish the food, keep looking for her and finally she brings the check and says, "they're keeping us really busy". No apology, just an excuse that wasn't solicited. As I'm setting up payment, another family, who got there 20 minutes ago and hadn't even gotten their drinks, walks out. I pay for my meal, leave a $5 tip for a $32 meal (my tips are generally 25-30% ...not this time) and we get up to leave. Walk right by our waitress and she doesn't even make eye contact. Overall, bad experience. Subpar service, long wait times, cold bland food. We won't be going back. Looks like Cracker Barrel and Denny's for breakfast going forward.

Ordered breakfast online. Live .2 miles away and came a few minutes after the ready time. The host asked for someone to check if my order was ready. 15 minutes later no one came to tell me anything. Asked the host when it was going to be ready and I was told “I don’t know you’ll have to ask a waitress.” 5 minutes later asked a waitress at the register, she was dismissive and never came back to tell me anything.This was the same waitress the host initially asked to check on my order when I first arrived. 10 minutes later the manager was at the register. She didn’t even let me finish complaining and kept telling me it was ready. The manager came back with my food while I was telling a different waitress what was going on. I asked if the food was cold and the manager said it wasn’t cold…it sure the hell was. This made it quite obvious that my food was ready on time and no one could be bothered. So it just sat there for almost 30 minutes getting cold and old.
The manager also scolded the host for telling me he didn’t know, in front of all the customers. Should have been a private conversation (or even quiet one) explaining what he should have said instead, what he said was annoying but didn’t deserve being told with a raised voice in front of customers. I hope he gets a better job where he’s treated and, more importantly, TAUGHT better. Not sure if the dismissive waitress was scolded or not but as a waitress she should have known and done better and there was no excuse for her treating me poorly. The ONLY person to apologize was the waitress I was telling what happened while she was ringing up a ticket. Things happen and a delay in getting my food isn’t a big deal BUT letting my food sit for 30 minutes getting cold was not acceptable. You also can’t expect staff to be pleasant when the manager is rude as well. I completely deserve a 100% refund for this nonsense but I’m so put off by what happened, the thought of calling to get one is just not worth it. So I will NEVER be back. Shame too because this is my disabled son’s favorite...
Read moreI have made a pick up order online and was supposed to be ready by 12:13pm today June 15, 2024. I had a family Emergency and couldn’t pick it up on time and sent my husband to go pick it up and he got there around 12:50PM. The order was supposedly picked up an hour ago. My husband kept telling them that he wasn’t picked up by us because we had a family emergency. The Restaurant staff were very rude to him, and since he couldn’t defend himself, since he barely speaks English, they gave him a hard time and started accusing him of stealing the food. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak with the person talking to my husband supposedly the manager I explained myself about the situation and that I wanted a refund or the food to be remake she said she couldn’t do anything because it was picked up and why I was calling supposedly 2 hours later when I called the location at 1:30pm make it make sense then I told her how is someone going to be pick it up if it was under my name, and why am I asking my husband to go get it for us if supposedly we stole the food. The lady kept saying that she didn’t know, but the food was given to somebody and then they start saying that they supposedly saw my husband picking up the food And then changed their story saying that we probably sent somebody to pick up the food when my My husband asked them to review their videos if they saw him early in the day. This is unacceptable and unprofessional and accusing someone without knowing. Then the lady said that she was going to record the situation and that this was going to be the last time they will fix this and they were going to redo the food. My husband then received the food and a whole staff came out just watching like if he was some criminal and mind you the order wasn’t even close to what I ordered. They just gave him some pancakes and eggs when my order was $68 and what I was giving is not even that price.
P.S to the staff at this location if we are “stealing food” I wouldn’t have been up here exposing myself or my husband and the terrible treatment the staff handle...
