I came in and ordered a double whataburger meal, large with no lettuce, onion and add ketchup and bacon. After I ordered but prior to paying I was informed that the restaurant was out of large paper product for the fries and asked if I wanted a medium. I stated that I did not want a medium, that I wanted a large. The cashiers went and brought the manager back and the manager stated, "I can give you a large drink but we are out of large paper product for the fries." "I cannot charge you for a large and give you a medium and a small fry due to inventory." I asked why it was okay to give me a large drink, which I was not interested in, but charge me for a medium fry and drink? She was unable to provide a response. So I had to purchase a medium meal and an additional small fry to get what I wanted. In my opinion, this manager is not living by the large window sign and apparent way of service for the Whataburger franchise. The sign in the window states, "Just like you like it." It also reads that the meaning of that is as follows: "Your food is made exactly the way you want it." "Your food is cooked right when you order it." "Your food is handed to you right on time." I do not feel that I experienced this during my visit. I believe the manager did nothing to attempt to compensate for the inconvenience of not ordering properly. In essence, I had to not only settle for something that I didn't want but I had to pay more out of pocket to get something that would have cost nothing to charge me a large and give me a medium paper cup with extra fries on the tray. I would have gotten what I wanted and paid for and the company's valuable "inventory" would have been safe. My guess is, if inventory was as important as she stated, there would have been enough large paper products to provide me...
Read moreThe highest rating I allow fast food. But i would go 4.5* as it really was pleasant, quick and tasty. Eggs fried by a human, not preshaped stuff. I got way too much as its my first Whataburger experience and (i hope obviously! 🤭) my first Breakfast experience here as well. I got a breakfast on a bun with bacon and an xtra egg; a breakfast burger with xtra egg, an order of hash brown sticks and i was done ordering but saw they have nice looking bfast burritoooos so, added 1 bfast burrito w bacon. I cant finish it all but everything was correct, as i ordered it (tho i forgot to add cheese on deez so they were slightly dryer than I expected but every egg was hand cracked and fried without any mold, the bun and tortilla all fresh and tasty, eggs cooked to over hard. I wonder if i can order over medium on the burritos. That would be killa. Anyway. For a fast food joint at breakfast that McDonald’s has usually owned that market, only place i get fried egg sammmiches, like egg McMuffin, substitute bacon for ham. Its enough that i can be on the road and at least be comfy to eat bfast wiyhout powdered or egg syrups or whatnot and get some egg mcmiffind w bacon substitute and a hashbrowns. Im as satisfied as going to waffle house. But this was much better. I dont know if ill like their burgers, test for another day.

i had a lovely young sister do my order. Her energy was wonderful at 6am and was a beacon of happy GM energy, but at the same time, was attentive to any questions and changes i made.
I only wish she asked if i wanted cheese but thats on me.
She should get a huge raise! :-)

Read moreSo on 9/9/2023 I went to this place for food. At 11:20 a.m I went through their drive thru. I ordered triple meat add cheese and bacon spicy chicken sandwich and a 3 piece chicken strip. Pull to the car already at the window waiting on their food. 15 minutes later they received their food. I paid for my food and sat there for 20 minutes in the drive thru and cars began to pull behind me for their orders. I sat there for another 20 minutes still haven't received my food I paid for 20 minutes ago. I asked for a manager, the young boy working the window said they are preparing all the orders they received. That would make my food cold as ice when I would receive it. I asked for a refund (10 more minutes past) for the manager to figure out how to refund my $31.04. It is now 9/15/2023 and no refund has been giving to me. I still have my receipt and the supposed manager signed it saying she refunded my order. The corporate people over this store need to send customers inside this place and order food and watch them workers not do their jobs. When I left there at almost 12:30 p.m (placed or at 11:20 a.m)there was 15 cars in drive thru and wrapped around the building. I will never eat at a whataburger again. Add the times up look at their timer on drive thru and watch the drive...
