THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED, AND VISITED BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. BEWARE! On June 4th, 2023 my daughter and I visited this restaurant and ordered a Parihuela Soup which contained a ROTTEN CRAB inside. Parihuela Soup is custom to Peruvian cuisine which we are very knowledgeable about considering we have regularly ordered that same soup in other peruvian restaurants. When my daughter cracked the shell open of the crab, the only thing oozing out was a fetid odor which was proceeded by a gas oozing out dark liquid and slime, exactly when something is completely rotten-decaying as if it was from a contaminated area. Both my daughter and I only had a couple of tablespoons of prior to the finding, and distraught at the finding. We instantly stopped touching our meal which we had just received then proceeded on telling the waitress who then called the manager over to deal with the issue. Once informed, the expression upon every staff members face that we could clearly see from where we were sitting was of disgust and laughing at the fact that we had experienced that. The manager proceeded to apologize about the finding but refused to understand us as first time customers of theirs and did not know how to resolve this situation properly also forcing us to pay for a meal we did not eat nor could enjoy for the very OBVIOUS reason. The only reason the police was not called from our behalf was because we were in a rush to leave for a business meeting which we had flown out to West Palm Beach for but they did threaten to call the police on us for not wanting to pay for a meal we could not eat which is terrible customer service. We are also business owners so we understand when these types of mistakes happen but in this situation it was not handled properly and would never hold a customer accountable for a mistake we personally make. This restaurant will be closed one day. MY DAUGHTER IS STILL HAVING FOOD POISONING AND WILL HEAR OF US IF GETS WORSE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY SAVE YOUR...
Read moreMy recent visit to INTI Peruvian Cuisine in West Palm Beach, Florida, was a flavorful exploration of Peruvian gastronomy. The restaurant not only impressed with its delicious appetizers but also stood out for its commitment to cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail.
The highlight of our dining experience unquestionably revolved around the appetizers. We commenced with the Ceviche Mixto, which proved to be a refreshing and tangy delight. The seafood was impeccably fresh, and the combination of fish, shrimp, and octopus was expertly marinated in zesty lime juice, complemented by vibrant red onions and sweet potato. Additionally, we sampled the Papas a la Huancaina, featuring tender potato slices generously coated in a creamy, mildly spicy yellow pepper sauce, yielding a harmonious fusion of flavors.
INTI Peruvian Cuisine excels in crafting appetizers that not only tantalize the taste buds but also transport diners to the heart of Peru. Their diverse menu boasts a range of options, each showcasing the restaurant's dedication to utilizing top-quality ingredients and authentic Peruvian culinary traditions.
One notable aspect of our dining experience was the restaurant's impeccable cleanliness. The dining area exuded spotlessness, and the meticulous care taken to maintain a hygienic environment greatly enhanced our overall visit.
The restaurant's ambiance exuded a warm and inviting South American atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for savoring Peruvian cuisine. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the appetizers, and the portion sizes were generous, ensuring a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
For those seeking an exceptional Peruvian culinary adventure in West Palm Beach, characterized by a strong commitment to cleanliness, INTI Peruvian Cuisine is an absolute must-visit. Their appetizers are undeniably delightful and embody the restaurant's dedication to delivering an unforgettable gastronomic journey through the...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a strip mall that has been quite obviously neglected for years. The parking lot is dark. It is uneven and pothole-rutted. It’s obvious that the owner of the site - although the site is fully leased - could care less about the property. Be careful walking in that parking lot!
Then, there’s INTI, itself. When you walk in you immediately notice that their buildout is truly pleasant. It is modern, tasteful, and quite the contrast from the decrepit parking lot and the sad storefronts.
The tight menu consists of what one would expect of a higher end Peruvian restaurant. There are ceviches, traditional (prime) beef dishes, various seafood offerings, etc. They also offer a full bar to include traditional Peruvian libations (pisco sour, chicha morada, etc).
Roberta and I each enjoyed a beef dish. We each had one non-alcoholic drink. The food was good to very good. In fact, we must say that we enjoyed our meals. Portions of meat were a bit lacking, but the traditional bowls were well filled with the inexpensive noodles (her dish) and the rice and French fries (my dish) that dominate such plates.
Also our server, Icarus, was outstanding; knowledgeable, attentive, efficient, polite, and just an enjoyable person with whom to interact.
The reason for the three stars is the value of the meal. Two plates (mostly carbohydrates with 4 ounces each of somewhat overcooked meat; we both ordered our steaks medium rare and they arrived well past medium, almost medium well) and two non-alcoholic drinks do not add up to a bill (granted, with a generous tip) that’s just shy of $100. Simply, INTI is overpriced for what is served. We will not be returning, and that’s kind of a shame as the food was pretty good and the service...
