I really wanted to like this place as the food and restaurant photos others had posted looked pretty good. When we arrived, an employee (owner/manager) was sitting at a table filled with paperwork. She was looking at her phone and didn’t greet us. One customer was finishing his lunch, otherwise the place was empty. Another employee, who served as our waiter, came out from the kitchen and seated us. Menus were sticky and had food debris on them. We did point this out to our waiter. The wall by our table was also splattered with something that looked like sauce and a large basil leaf sat in the middle of the floor where it remained for the duration of our lunch. Our waiter seemed friendly and nodded a lot. To start, we ordered two Thai ice teas. Containing mostly ice and cream, we asked for more tea, but didn’t know we’d be a charge until we received the check. The pho with round steak was good and came with plates stacked with basil, jalapeños, water shoots, and one small lime. Our waiter never returned to check on us and remained in the kitchen until we had finished. We didn’t appreciate this as we had wanted to order another round of ice tea and extra noodles. On our way out, I picked up the basil leaf from the floor and tossed it into a garbage can outside. Due to the uncleanliness of the space and lack of customer service, I cannot recommend this restaurant nor will we be returning...

Probably one of my favorite pho restaurant in town. It is a small shop located near the intersection of mau than and ba thang hai. They have a variety of traditional Vietnamese foods, but people go there for the Pho. The average bowl start at 40,000 dong and the special is 50,000. The Pho taste a bit sweet compared to other pho. The bowl is reasonable. I believe they only have small and medium. Nowhere near the large bowl found in the USA. But for the price, you can't beat it. Comes with a plates of veggies and iced tea (must ask to receive). They also have Hong Tra tac for 12,000 and Thai tea for 15,000. Other drinks like iced coffee starts at 10,000. Price is posted so you don't have to worried about being "chopped" as a foreigner. The staff is friendly. As far as cleanliness, it is typical of your average street restaurant here so don't expect 5 stars restaurants atmosphere. Pictures and prices will be included...

One of the best around!!!!!

It was recommended by a coworker and it dis not disappoint.

I have a favorite and go to spot for Pho, but this place doesn’t even come in a close second, it goes into first position with my fav.

We order two Pho’s with Brisket, and the eggrolls. Starting with the eggrolls, they are made there and very flavorful and full of filling (pork). Nice hot crispy, so good I ordered a second round.

The pho itself was nice, hot, comforting, depth full, light and honestly so good. Brisket was nice and tender, I ordered some extra chicken and it was very flavorful and came with extra broth.

If you go I recommend the everything above and the Vietnamese pancake, we saw it on the next table and it look amazing and a big portion.

Love the place, price, and obviously the food. Will be back more often, just have to choose between this place and the other one...

This place has been open for a few years now. Yesterday went back to try a soup that was supposed to be good. When it arrived, the meat tasted old, did not bring enough vegetables for 2 soups and tasted blend. Also tasted the MSG that, in my case, leaves an aftertaste. On the positive side, the shrimp was a nice size and the vegetables were fresh. The atmosphere is nice. They had Vietnamese remixes playing in the background, something common with the culture, that made it feel I was in VN. The food taste reminded me I was not. Service was also good. If you never had Pho (pronounced fah) before, you'll enjoy it very much. Me, in the other hand, got spoiled in Vietnam and haven't been able to find the flavor where all this originated from.

My friend and I went to Pho 16 tonight and it was excellent. I ordered the Bun Dac Biet, which is cold vermicelli noodles with grilled shrimps, pork, chicken and BBQ short ribs and peanuts. They also give you two egg rolls that were out of this world and a dipping sauce. My meal was delicious, but of the items in the dish I'd have to say that my least favorite part was the BBQ short ribs. The shrimp and pork were amazing. My friend ordered the vegetable Pho which came with the side typically offered with Pho. We both used and enjoyed the hoison sauce to enhance our dishes. We agreed that it was very reasonably priced and we both had leftovers for the next day.
