💀 Jersey Mike’s – Hunt Club Blvd, Apopka, FL (Now slicing fresh subs, serving great vibes, and cleaning like they’re prepping for a gluten-free surgical procedure.)
Let’s get one thing straight right out of the gate: This Jersey Mike’s slaps. Hard. Like “get in line twice just to high-five the staff”.
Every time my humans walk in, the crew is on point. Friendly. Attentive. Laser-focused on the order without acting like it’s an inconvenience that someone dared to speak words out loud. The go-to? The Club Sub, Mike’s Way, because that’s how you respect yourself. And they never miss. It’s like getting hugged by deli meats and shredded lettuce.
And now, let’s talk about something that really matters: Gluten-Free Care.
One of my humans is gluten-sensitive and absolutely not here for culinary chaos, and they actually trust this place. That’s a huge deal. The staff goes above and beyond to clean their prep area, change gloves, and prevent cross-contamination like they’re prepping for a NASA launch. That kind of care shouldn’t be rare, but it is. And that’s why this location stands out.
Even when the line wraps halfway to the door? Still polite. Still smiling. Still letting customers know how long the wait might be, because, you know, communication is free, and these folks actually care.
Now, let’s do a little sandwich landscape comparison:
Firehouse Subs – Quality ingredients? Definitely. Price tag that makes your wallet sweat? Also yes.
Subway – Basically edible LEGO bricks. Highly processed, occasionally mysterious, and as common as palm trees.
Jimmy John’s – Fast, fresh, decent. But around here? About as common as Bigfoot riding a Vespa.
Publix Subs (Pub Subs) – Glorious, yes. But a different category altogether. That’s deli-tier stuff. We’re talking fast casual here, and Jersey Mike’s sits right at the top of that mountain.
Now, some folks here in Florida will argue that Pub Subs are the best thing since sliced bread. And hey, they’re amazing, no debate there. But until they’ve had a real New York bodega sub from a guy named Sal who yells at you for asking for extra napkins? That argument’s got a soft roll, not a hard one.
Final Verdict: Jersey Mike’s on Hunt Club Boulevard is everything you want in a sub spot: Fast, fresh, friendly, and food that doesn’t taste like it was assembled in a fluorescent-lit sadness factory. They care about quality, they care about dietary needs, and they care about their customers. That combination shouldn’t feel rare, but it is.
This location is consistent, welcoming, and 100% worth your lunch money.

Read moreI don't usually write reviews. And I like Jersey Mike's enough to where I could go to any Jersey Mike's and enjoy the subs. And I have done. I've been to plenty of Jersey Mike's and I've always loved their subs. That being said the experience I had overall at this Jersey Mike's has been the most superior of them all. It demanded a most grateful review. They have a very special crew in Tony, Carrie and Joe. They are standouts. Each and every one. There was a small line when I walked in to where I had to wait just long enough to where I kind of got lost watching Carrie dress and finish sandwiches. She does this with a care and attention to detail that is unmatched. She makes them beautifully. The man who's sandwich she was making before mine remarked that she made his sandwich "Perfect" and standing behind him I could help but echo with a laugh "He isn't lying, that WAS absolutely perfect." She looked up and with the brightest smile said "Thank you, I really try." I told her that she was fantastic. She literally makes them like she is making them for a commercial shoot, or I imagine, how she would make them for herself. Joe is a machine on the grill par excellence. And you can tell he is a great cook at home just by the way he carries himself on that grill. And Joe is fast but there isn't the slightest drop in quality. His experience shows. And Tony is a bright and gracious leader that quite obviously wants to make his customers as happy as he can. And he does and will go out of his way to make sure of it. They are the best. So good. I was so absolutely impressed with the whole 10 minute experience that I honestly believe that this Jersey Mike's, with that crew, is the best Jersey Mike's around. Bravissimo, Carrie, Joe and Tony!!!! And thank you for such a...
Read moreThe morale at this location is at an all time LOW. My husband and I walked into the location, and immediately noticed the lengthy line, and only two employees working, but we still decided to wait. The workers started to prepare online orders, while there were customers in front of them waiting to be served. After waiting 10 minutes and noticing the line wasn't moving, my husband and I decided to leave. While quietly walking out the door, the employee (white male with long brown hair ponytail, no name tag attached to his shirt) yells sarcastically "have a great day" and starts laughing and smirking with the other employee. Very inappropriate conscending behavior for no reason at all. It's nothing funny, about losing business due to slow service. But this is why kids shouldn't be running a business without supervision. We went next door and spent my money with a business more efficient. I will not return to this location. This behavior was completely inappropriate and...
