Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

My review will be based on: Customer service, Cleanliness/layout, Food & cost

My husband and I went from Pace, FL to Tampa, FL to visit family and stopped by this plaza that had a UPS Store & a pet store. While in the parking lot, the pictures on the window of Jet's Pizza (located somewhere in between) looked so new & enticing, we decided to have lunch there before continuing our other shopping plans. Needless to say it was well worth the stop.

Customer service: The young lady that took care of our order was very helpful with any questions we had. She had a positive disposition, smile on her face, & even after a bit of us into eating or meal, she cared enough to ask us if we were satisfied with our meal. Even one of the young men in the back appreciateour feedback. (I wish we'd gotten their names, but maybe they will respond if they remember us?)

Cleanliness/layout: Alt the eatery is small compared to perhaps other pizza places, the way its set up was perfect for us two. Tables may be a little smaller, but considering everything we had on the table, it worked just fine. (Picture posted) The layout allows for several people to eat in and still have a clear path to the register & bathroom. Note: there is only 1 bathroom that anyone can use, but can't recall if there was a changing table. Overall, everything was clean, neat, and presentable.

Food & cost: We ordered a medium pepperoni & veggies hand-tossed pizza (can't remember the name), a small Ceasars salad, & 8 Jet's Wings (bone-in), as well as 2 bottles of their special spicy sweet sauce, plus an unsweetened ice tea, Gatorade, & water bottle. All of this cost about $30. The wings had the perfect balance of crisp & tenderness, not to forget the delicious spicy sweet sauce. The sauce is not overly spicy, and i can eat Tobacco hot sauce with no probably. I'd say this was a mild spicy, but worth getting. The pizza was just the right size for us two hungry folks. We still had 2-3 slices left. The salad dressing (also delicious) was on the side, but what I was excited about was that they actually are not stingy with the dressing! (I like a lot of dressing). The salad had Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded parmesan & mini croutons. With the cost, it was very well worth it. The pizzs was perfectly crispy edges and bottom. The veggies felt/ looked fresh and the cheese stretchy with yumminess!

This may not be on everyone's "vacation must-haves", but id recommend it as everyone's "must-do's". If we come to visit again, we definitely plan on...

Unfortunately, we had an a bad experience tonight in which we will no longer be getting pizza from this establishment. It was a busy Friday night. One of our pizzas was made incorrectly, but when I called, they told me they would remake the ticket. Errors happen and they agreed to fix it so there was no problems there. I took the pizzas back in and I was told that there would be about a 15 to 20 minute wait. I stayed in the store waiting for my order to be called out realizing 30 minutes later, I still didn’t have my pizzas and I was the only one left in the building. I walk up a little further to the very front. Someone greeted me and asked if I needed help and I told him I was still waiting on my order remake which he found waiting in the warming device. I have no idea how long I was sitting waiting after my pizzas were already completed. No one looked around for me when the pizzas were done or called out my name or order number, no one apologized. And frankly the most expensive new pizza does not look up to par for the cost. Super...

The managers are absolutely terrible towards employees. Also, half the management is fresh out of high school and most of the staff currently is in high school. Power tripping and owners who don't even know how pizzas function, most of the orders are sent out wrong at some point. The place is insanity to work at, at least during my time there. Im being polite by not mentioning the full scope of how bad this place is, it'd probably get some fired if I mentioned other things that were happening. If your order was sent out wrong it's most likely from someone in charge freaking out at a 16 year old staff member and that person panicking to get the order out, or possibly one of the owners who have no idea what their doing and taking wrong orders and switching tickets around. The pizza is decent but the organization is 0 and the treatment and worth of the staff is 0 in the eyes of those who are in charge (many of which is their first time managing anything).
