OK, so i have eaten at this restaurant for a while. i went in today 05/20/2016 for lunch i have 30 min brake so when i commit i have to see it through or not eat. we called 10 min ahead to have our order done when we get there at 11 am, we get there the food goes up in the hot counter i am able to watch everything the waitress asked for a new plate because the plate is hot (hot plate hot food) so the cook takes the plate that has been sitting there with a greasy dusty nasty bell on it, took the bell off that plate slid my food from the hot clean plate to the cold dirty plate and the server served me the food. i asked the server right there did you really switch my food to the dirty bell plate and she lied to my face and said i dont know ( i watched it all happen and seen her watch it happen) i said what ever i ate the food as i only have a half hr and im sure i ate worse and i dont want to send it back to that dirty place. then i checked out and the mgr asked how was everything i told her what happened she put a confused face look and said sorry i informed her i wont come back that was just dirty. she did not try to make it right or nothing ( i didnt ask for a discount or anything because i just wont go back) but it was surprising how they value there customers they dont care at all. they dont care there cooks are dirty they dont care there servers lie to customers. so just be ware if they are that dirty in front of me dont think you are any special. maybe you can get clean food but if some mistake that something falls on the floor dont think that dirty place wouldnt just pick it up and put it on your plate....
Read moreAte here last night (8:30ish) with my husband. The food was Horrible!!! The gyro I had looked nothing like the photos on the website. No Lettuce. No tomato. NO flavor. Big hunks of onion. The pita looked like it was hiding bits of Greek olive but on further inspection it was just burnt! The lamb was burned AND dried out. Quite an accomplishment! My husband had the veal parmesan. 4 bites sitting alone in the middle of the plate. The small blob of pasta was served on the side (really?). House salad is a few pieces of lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber & a couple ringlets of onion. No tomato. My wine was served in a cloudy, chipped wine glass and my husband had his second cup of coffee served cold. I could not eat my gyro at all. Fortunately, I had the chicken noodle soup as an appetizer, or I would have left hungrier than when I arrived. An entrée and no rolls/bread with butter? The server was very nice and attentive. No problem there. Wasn't able to give zero stars, so here it goes folks! I love to cook, and in fact, my Dad had his own restaurant in Ct. and I grew up working in it. 38 bucks lighter when we left. Went home and cooked a...
Read moreFirst time in Sebring: here for the afternoon only. Saw this place on my trip, looked up the menu, and decided to check it out.
Surprise bonus: they have a drive up window. I always love establishments with these, especially during the pandemic. I'm uncomfortable eating in many places today, so this is a nice touch. You may want to check out the menu in advance, as there's no speaker box or anything. You just pull up and tell them your order.
Service was prompt and courteous, even from the window. I ordered the gyro platter, with extra fries instead of the Greek salad. The food reached me piping hot and in the appropriate containers.
The gyro was pretty tasty, especially the roasted meat. The French fries were decent, but nothing to write home over. I appreciated their slightly sweet taste, but to me, they were missing the seasoning bit of a sweet/salty combo.
In all, not a bad lunch. Prices are fair for the amount of food received. I would come back for a meal if I visit...
