This is a certified locally owned AND meat eater friendly establishment. I admit I was fooled by the name into thinking just another hipster bean burger joint. Although meat alternatives are sold here it is not the case, actually far from it. We had the angus cheese burger 🍔 and fries. Note, burgers are only served well done as they are pressed fresh and made to order. Mine was a perfectly prepared patty. The bun was of a very nice consistency and toppings were perfect. The fries were light and just right without all the excess grease. For desert we tried the chocolate oat shake. I've never had this type of shake and have had most all other local traditionally prepared dairy shakes. I was pleasantly surprised with Kaliburger's take on a better shake. The oat non-dairy way let's you enjoy what tastes spot on like a chocolate malt. Best part is once your done you don't immediately feel like your eyelids are drooping and your going to give birth. That's a nice perk to eating healthy I assume?Either way I'm now a believer and will definitely be getting my own choco'oat shake next time (in my image it shows a half portion as we split one just in case). I noticed upon leaving this fine eatery I didn't feel gross, bloated, or tired. I know these are odd things to note, but most of the time we indulge it can have that side effect. The owners were on-site and answered all my menu questions. Extremely nice folks I may add. The restaurant's environment was welcoming, artistic, and super clean. Parking in front and over flow to the south of the palm trees. Kaliburger has been added to my keeper list of eateries and I look forward to trying other menu items. Lastly, make sure you say you'd like bacon 🥓 added to their menu of add ons if your like me and like a bit of 🥓 on your 🍔. Kaliburger is still new and actually are interested in what we want. So if there is a topping you want like bacon 🥓 let them know 😏 mmmm 🥓 would go well with your Angus Kaliburger. UPDATE Kaliburger now has...

Read moreWe arrived at Kaliburger around 2:30 PM for a late lunch, well within their posted hours. Unfortunately, the staff made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. The server told us they were only taking to-go orders because they were closing at 3:00. When I asked why dine-in wasn’t an option, he simply repeated the closing time. In the restaurant industry, being open until 3 should mean serving customers until 3—not turning them away so you can lock the door on the dot. Disappointing experience.
Update (response to owner): My intention was simply to share our experience. My feedback was about the overall feeling that we were not welcome to dine in, despite arriving well within your posted hours. I appreciate that you value your staff, but we felt the restaurant was already shutting down and that our presence was an inconvenience. To your point, I asked if we could eat outside and was told that wasn’t possible because of the 3 PM closing time. I understand your staff may have perceived things differently, but the impression my party and I were left with was one of being unwelcome. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with future guests. Thank you for...
