KFC — Restaurant in Florida

While ordering chicken tenders, I asked them to prepare a fresh set out of the oil. I then paid and was told it might be awhile because they had to drop them. I agreed to wait, because on 2 prior occasions I had to come back and get a new order because they tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. When I reached the window to get my order a manager stated “We have tenders that came out 7 minutes ago, and if you want to wait we can drop new ones. I was SHOCKED! I ordered what I wanted, paid for it and for a manager to try and discourage me from getting what I paid for is unethical. To think this restaurant would have did better from past complaints, only showed me that they are not interested in having good customer service. They also stated “they could only give small or large drinks out, because the entire KFC company doesn’t have any medium size cups. So, I had to direct them to pour out the small drinks with ice and to give me a large drink with no ice. You think they would have did this since it wasn’t the customers fault they didn’t have medium size cups, but still wanted you to pay the order price. I left with the tenders that had been sitting out for 7 or more minutes (look at the holding rack lines in the posted pictures),that’s why I posted this review. I paid for an order, I didn’t ask for. Disappointing visit.

First off... the employees were all VERY nice and did what they had been taught to do. So here goes....

We arrived at 8:20 PM. Well over an hour before close.

All the side items were out of the heating unit and heat wells were being cleaned. Bulk containers.

The side items were not made up so we had to wait to scoop up and prepare, from the bulk containers on the counter, out of the heat.

Mash potatoes and gravy were cold.

The girl that handed me my drink cups stuck here fingers inside of each cup, as she gave them to us. She did the same with the side item containers she filled. Disgusting habit.

They were cleaning the lobby and corralled the few customers into a small area, which is fine... but the tables we had to choose from were dirty. They were more interested in closing on time than taking care of the customers that were there.

I had bbq tenders, and the sauce looked like soup. They had zero flavor, and had a powdery texture. The man sitting in the next booth actually had the same meal, and said the same thing! As we left I asked him his opinion and he said it was pretty bad.

The restrooms were clean.

Soda was very over carbonated and we had a long wait to finish pouring. Soda was syrupy and not good. They REALLY need to calibrate the Pepsi flavor dispenser.

A less than...

The white female cashier for the front counter at 12:45 pm on Wednesday March 29th had a shity attitude while taking my wife and I order!! My wife asked her why the picture on the inside menu for combo #8 had a side order of mashed potatoes showed as part of the meal received for the #8 combo but when we tried to order it the cashier said no side on it..she told my wife I don't care what the picture shows read below it and you can see that the potatoes are not included! Making that statement to us with a Bad Attitude and huffed at us like we got on her nerves by asking the simple question!! Wow she clearly has bad customer service skills! We came to eat lunch not to have to deal with a attitude from the lady taking our order...I spoke to the store mgr,and the drive thru cashier before I left the building and they both were very friendly and professional! So if you're going inside KFC(In Pace) to eat around lunch time through the week stay away from the little short white girl cashier unless you want to deal with a bad attitude and unprofessional employee!
