Sunshine & Lollipops: Candy & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Florida

The fact that no one has reviewed this place yet makes me think that I'm the only Yelper in all of Pace. The idea and location of this business is super exciting and I couldn't wait to check it out once I heard about it.

It's the perfect location for kids, because there's like a park thing right outside for them to run around in and eat their ice cream in. Inside, the store is decorated super cute. There are local college team wreathes on the wall (minus UCF...), a random picture of a cow, and a board full of pictures of kids that have dived into their signature ice cream flavor, Cookie Monster. I had a waffle cone full of some flavor that had a mixture of chocolate and caramel ice cream, and it was really good! I missed having something to crunch on, but you can add on some toppings for like a dollar. It's not too bad. They have a bunch of unique flavors that are made in house, and the employees are super nice and ready to hand out plenty of samples.

One more thing. They have a thing called the "Oh No You Didn't" Challenge where you have 30 minutes to eat like 5 pounds of ice cream, or something like that. Either way, it's not likely. The board only showed two people had tried it, and no one has won yet. So go and check that out.

They have some random things. They sell various components of trail mix by the pound and they have bags of popcorn ready to sell, too. It's all very quaint and boutique feeling.

Icecream yum!!! I've only seen milkshake creations like they offer in one other place & that was at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal Studios in Orlando. They have a wide variety of different flavor icecreams and other treats. Very clean & tidy when I arrived & I was greeted by the owner of the place. She was on her way out the door but took the time to stop, greet me at the door, asked if I had been there before then gave me a quick rundown of what they offered. What she did says alot to me about how she runs the place. For the owner to stop in the middle of leaving just to speak with a customer briefly while at the same time having 2 great employees working the counter doing the same thing says alot!!! Three words: Beautiful. Delicious. Monstrosity. Lemme tell ya ‘bout these freak shakes. If you’re looking for an Instagrammable sweet treat this is definitely the place. While it comes across as a high price point the “slice of life” does contain and entire piece of cheesecake as garnish (not to mention you get to keep the cute jar!). I made a giant sticky mess trying to eat it but it was worth it. We also enjoyed the “Nanner Pudding” shake.
