La Ideal Bakery — Restaurant in Florida

I call in to place an order like I always do to this place and I use to have it as 5 star because their cakes are really good but today the customer service was awful. And so a man answers the phone, I say I need a ale for Saturday & if it’s possible to place it in for that day he says sure absolutely come anytime that it isn't busy and they can get me going on my cake, I mean the guy was very friendly over the phone, so I walk in right after work to place and order & for 45 mins I'm with the girl on the counter trying to get the cake that they have in display and ends up telling me that they can't make the ones I picked out so then I ask okay you know what just make me a regular cake how about that. She ends up saying sorry there isn't any more room for you. I ask to speak with the manager and she says he’s not here. I ask to speak to who's in charge she says the man in the back but will not receive you. So while I tell her to please get the gentle men in the back she goes back there for another 20 mins and ends up coming out saying he will not receive me. Now All I wanted was a cake to be made for Saturday had me here for 45 mins to tell me there is no spots. I'm beyond disappointed she could have least told me from the start sorry there isn't any room to make you a cake. Instead she had me pick out what kind of shape of the cake I wanted and what type & ends up telling me no. Very mean people I will never...

I have been to many bakeries, but this one takes the cake! I ordered a cake for an engagement party and I was blown away by it's appearance as well as the taste. So many times we go to custom cake places and there is always something wrong. It either doesnt look great or it's too sweet or it's dry. But this place really went above and beyond with their service! Words cannot explain so I will attach a video for future customers to not think twice about doing business here. The cake was vanilla base with fresh strawberries. It was absolutely delicious. To a point where we didn't want to share it with guests anymore and just keep it to ourselves 😂 the baker was a sweet gentleman who really put his time and effort into this and I appreciate all his hard work. This bakery is amazing! From the first day that I stepped into the shop, to when they delivered the cakes. Their creativity is beautiful and the customer service is 5 stars. I made multiple changes/additions and they were flexible with me. I had looked into 3 other bakeries before finding this one, and other bakeries were very set on their ways and their prices were not worth the sizes of the cakes they were showing me. La Ideal delivers masterpieces at incredible prices. They do all occasions too, my event was a big baptism and they nailed it!
