Was very excited to try this place after experiencing the fantastic West African food I had at a Nigerian wedding while back. I played it safe with the Jollof Rice & Chicken for my first try and I am so full of regret. I should have ordered at least 3 other things just to try it because my “safe” meal was a flavor party in my mouth with every bite. The chicken was deliciously seasoned with the same smoky, spicy, savory tomato sauce that makes the accompanying Jollof Rice one of the best rice preparations over ever tested. I used to drive to the one in Miramar from Palm Bech Gardens at least once a month to get my Egusi and fufu fix. There is another place off of 45th ST here in WPB that is doing Nigerian food, but it was trash and that where I throw it. I've gone to other spots in the Lauderdale and Miami area, but this is the best one that I have found to date in South Florida. Even when I travel to Phoenix AZ, I could find one place that was on par with Jollof Pot. I can't wait to try this location. Real good authentic Nigerian delicacies! The Jollof rice is right on point with the original smoky flavor. I love it! I also love the Asun, pepper soup, and Egusi soup, can’t wait to try other items on the menu. If you have never tried Asun or pepper soup, I must warn you that these might be Extremely hot/Spicy to those who are not used to spicy food, and still really hot to those who are used to it, but very flavorful and delicious.
