Update: Thank you for your response and apology!!
It was My cousin that had a bad experience and she said the following .. “The wings were luke warm!!! The host was nice at first when I arrive with my little dog that had just got her nails trimmed at Shaggy Dog. She gave my dog some water and had me order some wings that she recommended and I told her we would be outside sitting down. The wings arrived. They were lukewarm, but I didn’t want to return them at that time so I ate about three and wanted the other three packaged to bring home so I could put it in the microwave, I told her when she came out to check …can I have a container and my bill. I waited and waited and waited. Two ladies came and ordered wings they got their wings and it was cold. I still did not get the container or my bill. Then when they complained about their wings being cold, I told the other person who delivered their meal that I need a container. So that person brought the container, but the host still did not bring my bill, my dog started having breathing problems from just waiting and waiting she needed to be in an AC area. I would say 20 minutes more and I told the ladies tell her I’m in my car. She finally came out and came to my car saying Garbage like she didn’t know where I was and the ladies told her where I was. I gave her my card and I told her what was going on with my dog.as an RN I knew I needed to leave immediately but she still continued talking about me not being patient and then I lost it. In other words. I told her please go do what you have to do and give me my card. She said you have to come inside for credit card transactions so I left my dog next-door at Shaggy Dog went inside the restaurant she was very Condescending when she said “have a nice day ma’am” then I said to her you have acted very irresponsibly by not bringing out my bill on time now you’ve delayed me bringing my dog home for treatment. She then again said well you were impatient. I said no you are rude. I stormed out of there never to return. The host has a personality what we professionals describe as passive aggressive she told me she had too many people to take care of and that she couldn’t come back to me when I wanted her to come back to me. Are you serious? I said to her you need to hire more people then rather than having a little kid helping …well that’s my rant … Good news is I got my dog home, put some ice water on her gave her some homeopathic remedies for respiratory distress and as I talk to you now she is peacefully resting but what An ordeal, my dog had to go through, which could’ve been prevented sooner.” Back to me: My cousin is fighting breast cancer hence me stepping in…. She is owed an apology at least … letting her wait that long for a bill while her dog was in distress is abominable… she got her dog home in time or she would have died … my cousin wanted to drive off but stayed as she felt that would have been wrong … and then being told she was inpatient was inappropriate… me, her and all our friends will...
Read moreWow! What can I say. I saw 40 flavors in a instagram post from London, UK around 3 months ago whilst just scrolling through my feed, they were Promoting their cheesecake egg roll, which is absolutely game changing btw. I decided to take a trip over to Miami to see a friend and in the process take a trip up to Lake Worth to see the 40 flavors gang!
Boy was I in heaven! This place hit a home run and then some for my very first visit. The strawberry habanero, clearly made using fresh strawberries had a nice kick but really didn’t overpower the overall enjoyment and Hennessy glaze stood out as the most memorable and interesting flavor. I’ll say one thing, if these guys bottled some of these flavors, 100% they would be making ridiculous money at Walmart. The seafood butter made the wings so juicy and moreish and the Jerk BBQ was nice and thick with a nice kick! If you put the Hennessy glaze on ribs it would be wild! It’s that good. The wings were perfectly cooked, ranging in sizes and clearly fresh!
Onto the Cheesecake egg roll. All I’ll say is thank god I don’t live in Miami as I’d be ordering this multiple times a week and I’d be a very very large person! The egg roll was crispy, the strawberry sauce sticky and sharp and the cheesecake moist and flavourful, the first, second and third bite really did hit me for 10. They’re onto another winner with this one.
There was a short wait when we arrived, clearly this place is loved by the community and by the standard of the food and welcoming feeling we got on arrival, I can see why.
I have no regrets flying over 5000 miles to sample this little slice of oral heaven. You’ve made an international customer for life and I’ll 100% be back multiple times before I leave to go home to London, UK.
I will be recommending you to EVERYONE I meet in USA along with everyone...
Read moreVery seldom do i have an experience bad enough to bother leaving a review but this deserves one. Heard about this place through a co worker talking about how amazing the wings are. Came in and ordered 2 6 pc wing combos for $42 (a tad high for just 2 6 pc combos) had 2 different people order after us and both some how got their food before us (one had a 25 pc combo) waited roughly an hour finally got my food , went into the car and checked the order and once I checked my 2nd order and found a bandaid hanging onto one of the wings. Threw everything back into the bag and brought both orders in to get a refund and they blamed it on the "chicken" distributor.... how does it manage to get onto the stove top / grill to cook , sauced , plated and bagged and made it's way into my order. Obviously the quality control is lacking. Only good thing from this experience is that I beat my fiance in uno 4-3 so there's that... for such expensive wings and an hour + wait I'd expect the food the be well worth the wait , but sadly was quiet the opposite.
Editing this to reply to the owner , the fact that you said in your response you never blamed the chicken distributor you guys instantly said "it's not from us" when I brought the issue up then swiftly after pushed blame onto your distributor. After those remarks someone laughed and said " the odds of this happening is like wining the lottery" you guys took absolutely 0 accountability for that being in the food. No matter where that bandaid came from it should've been found before plating and served to a customer. Absolutely astonishing that you guys can't take an once of responsibility for such a matter. Also the "motive behind the incident" you mean me finding a bandaid in my food and wanting to let people know about...
