Disregard any non-constructive,, negative reviews you have read so far. I am an infectious disease nurse whom is really picky about eating out, especially in a Caribbean restaurant . I went there before the global crisis started, I was skeptical to eat out on that day. But to my surprise, the restaurant was extra clean. Will you even believe that the chef /owner offered me to visit the kitchen to see if his cleaning methods agreed with me? Yes he did ! I was scared at first, but since I saw cameras in every corners, I was like oh well ! I went in and the kitchen was sparkling clean, NO dirty rags all over the place; the place did not smell greasy, no foul-smelling garbages neither . For that “informal “ inspection , I got my first order for free. I was grateful for that part. But I am more grateful that there is an Haitian restaurant nearby I can always count on for genuine, friendly, reliable and clean customer service. You will not be deceived. Do you know whrer lake work and jog is? If so, you are not far from having some of the best Caribbean food you have ever tasted. There is a blessing on this Earth between youfit and marshles. This place actually also deliver through GrubHub so I'm excited towards making this my main spot for some Great island food.

I went to the restaurant after 11am and the door was locked, I saw no one inside, I decided to call them and still no answer, but the door schedule said it opens at 11am, so unprofessional. I decided to call back 30 mins later because I was still in the plaza and they were open at that time. I ordered a spinach legume and a brown stew chicken and the cashier said it was $35 & change, I was in shocked, so I asked if that's what it cost for the 2 plates of food, chicken and spinach with rice, SERIOUSLY!!!
