Leo & Joe's New Jersey Pizza and Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Went for dinner with a group of 8 people, we go there a lot. Sat down and waitress came over and told me I could not have my diet green tea they don’t allow outside beverages. So that’s fine my husband was taking it to the car, so I ordered an unsweetened tea the waitress said we don’t have any unsweetened tea. So I asked what they had sugar free, her reply was diet soda, which I can not have carbonated beverages. I offered her my medical card for my condition and she just smirked at me. Her reply to me was we have nothing you can have water. So I said you won’t make an exception because you have no beverage for me and I offered pay soda anyway. Just give me cup of ice and I will pour my diet tea into it. She said no you can have water in a very nasty tone and rolled her eyes. I asked to speak to Owner or Manager and her rude voice said I am the manager. At that point we decided to get up and leave. It is such a shame, we have been going there for over 20 years and we were there with a large group of neighbors who feel the same way now.

It’s funny we were just there for lunch a couple weeks ago and the owner came over and hung out with us. I will be calling him personally. I get no outside beverage if they had something to offer as replacement but for that manager just get a nasty attitude and be so rude is unacceptable. Lost a very large tip and 8 dinners for the owner. We will not be returning or any of the 7 people with me. I have never been spoken to or treated like that at any restaurant ever!! I went here yesterday for the first time around 1pm, with my senior mother to order two lunch specials, a simple order one with two chesse and the other with one cheese and one pepperoni. After we ordered, we were waiting for our order, a gentleman came 5 minutes of us already waiting for our 4 slices of pizza, and still waiting....he ordered the same thing, He waited 5 minutes and was handed his order two pepperoni slices, and was on his way. We were still waiting and were told by the waitress, sorry for the wait he's making a fresh cheeses pie. We were like ok, finally we were addressed, and handed our two drinks. After waiting for almost 20 minutes!!!! The older guy making the pizza, gets three slices that were sitting there this whole time, and one fresh cheese slice!!! When we leave cause it was to go, we sit in the car and the pizza was soo soggy and dripping in oil, that it was a damn disaster to eat, and it was disgusting and disappointing!!! Especially having us stand there for 20 minutes to get these disgusting pizza left over slices from hours ago, they were so soggy they fell apart and were like wet rags!!! I used to love this place, I would eat from here 2 times a week. Now, something has changed. The staff can't take a correct order and the cook can't make a simple Stromboli. My order was a cheese steak Stromboli with fried onions and fried pepperoni, well done with sauce on the side, what I got was not even close other than being a Stromboli. I had them redo my order. Next one they sent me what looked to be half the size of the first one sent and looked to be all dough with cheese all over the box leaking grease everywhere. I had the driver take it back... I ordered at 12 noon, now it's 1:30, waiting for the delivery driver for 40 mins....nothing. I call to let them now know I don't want the food and to return my money, I get hung up on and tried to call back from 2 different cell phone and let it ring 20 time from each phone.....no answer, so I go to their store, it's now 2:20, they only had two tables seated.
