Great place to waste a ton of time, get treated like an afterthought, and then leave empty handed and hungry for your trouble! Ordered a pizza online through the app and arrived at the store on my way home from work in time for the app to indicate ready for pickup. Instead I was advised that the pizza would be done in a few more minutes...? 10, 15, and then 20 minutes goes by and I begin to hear the staff commenting that a driver took the wrong order for delivery. I asked if that was my pizza -- they assured me it was not. I politely showed them the app indicating that it had been done for over 30 minutes at this point. Turns out, it actually was my pizza, they just didn't want to tell me. They asked if I wanted to wait around another 15 minutes or so for another. No offer of a refund for my trouble, but asked if I wanted some brownies or something awful to go with it instead. No thanks, I was already running late to pick up our kids and the last thing I wanted do after a long day of work was wait for a mediocre pizza for over an hour. I nicely told them I wanted a refund and to get out of there instead. To my dismay, it took them another 10+ minutes to figure out they didn't know how to refund my order. A customer came in and was asking for help with were to find a specific deal for an online order and asked to speak to the manager. The manager did not know the promo and the customer corrected her after receiving the wrong information. After the customer left, the staff the manager in particular was rude and talking about the customer in a very negative way and was talking about how they were going to make her wait for her pizza and making fun of her. The customer told the manager why she was looking for that specific deal and that she had a sick mother and kids and it was hard to keep up with cooking and wanted to get the best deal. The manager showed no empathy for the customer and had an attitude with her. I love Marcos pizza but customer service is crucial to a successful business and made me fearful for her knowing that she may receive a pizza that was tampered with or made to wait extra long because she asked to speak to the manager.
