Extremely filthy and germ-filled, don't come to this location if your health is a concern. WI-FI was down for over 3 weeks and they finally had it fixed, the only reason they fixed it was because there were several of us repeatedly calling corporate office customer service. Management in this location couldn't care less, they are running this gym to the ground, if you want anything done, call their corporate. Management also tends to give false and conflicted information, they kept saying the wi-fi would be fixed tomorrow but plenty of tomorrow had passed, nothing happens. I changed my plan months ago but have been charged for the old amount, I'm going to call today and find out what happens with that.
I work out every day and take a brief shower every day here and this is the only location I come to. From my observation, female shower room gets cleaned once every 4-5 days on average. Hair balls, trashes are all over at the shower room, locker room is very dirty as well, it barely gets cleaned. Out of the months I've been here, there was only one time I saw a girl cleaning the locker room, she was BARELY sweeping, expect to see the tissues and trashes in this place. It's normal for them to run out of tissues and it's very slow for them to replace.
Last month there was a VERY strong urine smell in the female shower room which lasted 4 days, I can honestly say it was worse than a zoo, trashes covered the floor, it was unbearable...
The equipment are old and dirty, carpet is filthy, I'm not sure how often they clean them. I informed the front desk two times on different days about the cleaning but nothing got done. The first time was a girl at the front desk, she was very indifferent and standoffish, couldn't care less, the second time which was yesterday, a guy at the front desk told me no one cleans on the weekends, when I told him it's been like this for 4 days, he didn't say anything.
Again, don't come to this location if health is a concern, you're warned. Attached pictures were...

My wife and I decided to join LA Fitness to enroll in a gym with a personal trainer, expecting professional guidance. During enrollment, we informed the manager that my wife had an old medical issue in her foot, and as recommended, she could train with care. We were assured that the personal trainer would take special precautions and avoid heavy weights or exercises that could worsen her condition.
Unfortunately, within a month, the trainer completely ignored her concerns and pushed her into heavy-weight training, even when she told her she was in pain and needed to stop. As a result, her condition worsened significantly. After consulting a specialist, we discovered through an X-ray and physical exam that this was not a flare-up of her old condition but a new training-related injury. The doctor provided a report confirming that the injury was caused by improper training.
I took this medical report to LA Fitness and requested to cancel the personal training contract, but they refused. Instead, they only offered to pause the sessions or required us to pay 50% of the remaining six months to cancel. I opted to pause the training while escalating the issue to their headquarters.
However, despite pausing the membership, they continued to charge $195 per month for personal training services my wife wasn’t receiving. I repeatedly complained, but for 30 days, nothing was resolved. When I finally got a call from a manager, I tried to explain the situation, only for him to hang up on me.
At that point, I decided to cut ties with LA Fitness completely. Their poor management, lack of professionalism, and unethical billing practices left us feeling scammed.
If you’re considering joining LA Fitness, be very careful—their personal training contracts are designed to trap you, and their staff does not prioritize customer well-being. I highly recommend avoiding this gym...
Read moreFeel free to come here if you wanna lose hundreds of dollars!!! Its seems they love to double charge. A few weeks ago me and my boyfriend went in to pay off the rest of initiation and other sign up fees, after they called us and their transaction was declined our account. So we came into pay, then within a few hours they charged his original account as well. After double charging us, they denied until he threatened to leave. Then only gave him half back(almost two weeks later). They said the other half was for future monthly payment, that werent due for weeks. So after overdrafting his account, stealing money from us and saying how its theirs to take(also keep in mind we DONT have a contract so their is no guarantee we will be back the next month) I decided to handle it. I spoke to Cory at the County Line Rd in Wesley Chapel location and after being rudly directed to the corporate office because "that's not his job description" I got the lovely pleasure of speaking the Kristy Davis who is positively the rudest, most inconsiderate person I've ever met in my life. Her definition of customer service is repeating what her calculator says. Kudos to you for still getting it wrong with a calculator!! She then refused to cancel my service after insisting though she offered but only "If it will shut you up" What a wonderful manager!! If only my management skills were that wonderful, that way I can, one day, be unemployed just as she will! :D One can only dream though! So be warned this all happened (and was a lovely war, I might add) for 3 months and they still refuse to pay us the...
