One of the best McDonald's I've been to in terms of overall experience and consistency, sure they have their hiccups here and there but compared to the rest of Jacksonville area restaurants, they are top tier, friendly staff, hot and correct orders, never a very long wait unless it's "prime time" and even then you're out of the lot before you know it.
My only one real complaint is that they forget the sauce for my nuggets pretty regularly during the dinner shift.
Update: This location has fallen off in terms of quality and service, it's probably a sign of the times but it's gotten pretty expensive, they constantly forget items which adds is a real let down to get all the way home and find out there's no sauce or even sometimes entire entrees, for me though the service is almost nonexistent, they have a few good employees like Mrs. Denise, Mrs. Katie and Mrs. Ruby, but I was legit yelled at by the order taker at the drive thru a week ago because I didn't hear her tell me to wait, they have a recorded message that plays when you pull up, I heard that, proceeded to say one word and she screamed at me, I'm not usually sensitive to stuff like that, but it really put a bad taste in my mouth, I amending my star rating to reflect the current levels of satisfaction I feel for this location. I dunno of there's been a change of management or what, but the difference is dramatic.
Also $2 for not even an entire single piece of bacon is highway robbery...
Read moreI ordered through the drive-through. The bundle (40 pcs nuggets, and two large frues), and double quarters pounders with cheese, large meal. Requested fries lightly salted. I got home 10 minutes later. Fries were saturated with salt, and I didn't get my double quarter pounders. I called the restaurant and spoke with a not very pleasant representative. She asked me many questions, and she went around and around trying to locate my receipt. After locating it, she suggested that she didn't see that request for lightly salted fries when, in fact, it was clear as day on the receipt that I have in my hand. She continued to explain the process of how fries get salted, etc... then, comes to why I didn't get my double quarters pounder. She stated that if I didn't get it, then it would still be sitting there at the restaurant, and she didn't see it there. This statement led me to believe she thinks that I am lying. I made the 10 minutes drive back to the restaurant to speak with the shift manager, Mya she offered to redo my burger and fries without salt. Got the fries redone, but I lost my appetite for the burger (refunded). It's such a shame to have very poor service at this location. This is not the first poor service that I've received at this location, but it's the first time that I am...
Read moreWhile out & about running errands I stopped at this McDonalds for a quick beverage for me and fries for my favorite 4-legged friend.
I placed my order in the drive-thru and once at the window, I decided to ‘pay it forward’ by taking care of the car behind me. I often do this to honor a family member who died WAY TOO EARLY in life! I tell the cashier that I’d like to pay for the car behind me and then leave a ‘pay it forward’ card for the cashier to give to the recipient. The card explains my family member’s story and asked the recipient to repeat the actions shown to them in an effort to spread kindness!
I’ve done this many times & many places. This particular day was NO different… until the cashier had to call the manager for a turn of the register key. I literally overheard the female manager SCREAM out loud to the cashier, ‘ the next person to do this….. tell them NO. I don’t have time for this shit!’ I don’t know if she knows I heard her tirade, but what kind of way is that to speak of a paying customer? Better yet, what kind of way is that to speak of someone trying to spread good in this world?
This McDonald’s has lost my patronage as long as that lady is still a member of their management staff! Rudeness has no place in this world…. Especially when someone is helping...
