Firehouse Subs Julington Creek — Restaurant in Florida

I have to say I'm very disappointed. I used to go to this restaurant every week with my father, and it has really gone downhill. But nothing irks me more than getting all the way home and discovering that my drink, which is supposed to be a sweet cream soda, is actually just bubbly water. Of course I'm all the way home and can't do anything about it so I guess I get no drink. Paid for it, just don't get to drink it. And now they want a tip just for doing their job. It's not like they bring the food to your table, or clear your table away when you order your food to go. Or clean any of the crumb-covered tables. But of course you're afraid that they're not going to make your order right if you don't give them a tip. I'm just not going to eat out anymore. Or if I do, it certainly won't be here at this Firehouse in...

The staff is always friendly and super nice, and the restaurant is always clean. However to say fast food is a stretch...we go here for take out on busy days and IF there is a line at the register it moves quickly...and then we wait...I am no expert (but I have been to other firehouse sub locations) and I think this location needs a new toaster...this one moves quite slowly YET my subs consistently seem to be warmed NOT toasted, one time recently it was actually soggy and difficult to pick up (and it was a normal sub (turkey/bacon/cheese/toppings) not one you expect super messy. So far these issues have not stopped us from going back (unless we are in a hurry) because even soggy the taste is delicious and...

My experience with firehouse subs has been 5 star for years but today dashed it to pieces! We emailed our order and paid on line. 15 minutes later arrived and it wasn't ready which is no big deal as I could see they were quite busy on this particular Sunday afternoon. But 35 minutes later my order still had not been prepared and after several polite inquiries they acknowledged that they had the order but nothing happened. They were completely caught up wiping down counters and 1 young man ran as fast as he could to fulfill the order. My wifes hook and ladder was cold again I've always had great service at this establishment but I guess the lesson here is don't call...
