To preface, I work 6:30 pm to 6 am with a lunch break at 11:30. My options are limited at that hour, so naturally I've been subsisting on McDonald's 2 for $3 deal -- never again!
On my lunch break I raced to McDonald's as usual, picked up a cheeseburger and some chicken nuggets, and then raced back to work to eat in the parking lot. After finishing my cheeseburger, I started on my chicken nuggets.
I noticed the first nugget had a strange consistency -- it was almost slimy... I examined the remaining 5, but they looked perfectly normal and were neither cool nor warm to the touch. Hungry and pressed for time, I chalked it up to being tired and took a bite out of my second nugget.
Being keyed in to the strangeness, I was struck again by the slimy consistency of the meat and examined the interior of the half eaten nugget. To my horror, the chicken inside had the clear, almost translucent look of a raw chicken breast from the supermarket. I dry heaved a few times, muttered a few choice expletives, tossed the remaining nuggets and went back in to work.
Over the course of my 6 hour shift, I got a mild headache and started to feel queasy. By the end of my shift I was completely miserable. Nauseous and eager to get home, I got in my car and started my 30 minute commute home.
Well, I nearly got into an accident and threw up in my car before managing to pull over on the side of the interstate to spill my guts. After collecting myself, I got back on the road and made it home, where I proceeded to sleep and throw up in no particular order for the next several hours...
I suppose the moral of the story is that McDonald's can go $#@% itself. I know their "food" will kill you eventually, but I was not prepared for it to damn near kill me that night.
Doing some research into how a chicken nugget can be simultaneously breaded and uncooked, I discovered that they are distributed in that state to be cooked at the individual store. How this McDonald's managed to screw up so royally is beyond me
TLDR: I was sold uncooked chicken mcnuggets and got...

A typical Maccy D.
This is a busy outlet and as such you will have, potentially, a long wait for your order. You can park up and go inside to order (either old fashioned way or via their automated screens). I did the latter and it was relatively smooth but don't look down at the pay pad for too long because your order number flashing quite quickly before your eyes on the screen and it's easy to miss it. This happened to me and I only caught two of the numbers before it had gone from sight.
Because I had to wait for the French fries to cook, the BigMac was cold in the bag by the time I got back to the car. That's a cardinal sin in any fast food restaurant when they throw in one item but then have to wait for the others to cook etc, which were hot of course compared to the burger...
Drive-thru worked well; inside was busy and seemed a bit slower. It did appear relatively clean inside though. This place is 24/7 so that's a good service for the local community or for those travelling north or south on Interstate 75 and who...
Read moreI’ve come here for the past few months on Sunday morning before church and every time I’ve received horrible service. This time my fiancé and I went again and ordered on the mobile app 10 minutes before we got there and we were told by the girl at the second window to go to the parking spot #3. We received our food within 15 minutes of waiting and then told the guy who brought us our food we were missing a frappe. Then we waited another 15 minutes and didn’t receive it still. So my fiancé then gets out of the car to inform them inside and the girl told him that she had to show him proof which we had when we had placed the order but since it was bumped off the screen it didn’t show on the app anymore. So then I get out of the car to go and show them again and the lady at the counter was rude and said it had been sitting right in front of him the whole time which was false. Then we get to the car and start eating the food and turns out the cup from the frappe had a hole on the side of it and was leaking inside my cup holders. We will never come to this...
