Miami Dance and Music Academy — Local services in South Miami

I have so much to say about this studio. First off I have a little one who’s the youngest in her class and she is easily intimated. From her first trial class she was welcomed into the warm and loving environment that is embodied by the staff, parents, and girls that make up the studio.

Our daughter has been welcomed from her first day. The staff is attentive and always lending a helping hand. The teachers fall nothing short of the amazing staff. I have endless praise for Ms. Marina especially. My daughter enjoys every moment from the moment she walks into the studio.

She is part of the MDM Academy family.

She walks in, greets the front desk girls, puts her bag up and plays with her friends.

If you’re looking for community and a dance family look no further. Warm, welcoming, easy, everything a busy mom wants for her happy kid.

If you are looking for a dance studio or music school, I highly recommend Miami Dance and Music Academy. My daughter has been dancing with MDC since she was 3 years old, the teachers, staff and owners are extremely friendly and they are always willing to hear your concerns. My daughter has learned and advanced so much in the last three years. MDC also offers an amazing dance company with various Showbiz, Starpower, Star Systems, Hall of Fame National Championships Awarded to them along with many other championships Awards. They offer a free dance class if you are interested in dancing at their studio with a long variety of classics to offer your little dancer. Once again I highly recommend them, I have been part of this amazing family for the last 4 years and I don't see myself reconsidering any other...

I wouldn't recommend this academy and I already told my friends with kids not to take them there. The teachers are rude, especially the blond young lady with long hair. She thinks she owns the place, but she doesn't. At the door they allow certain parents to come in all the time and the rest are told to wait outside. One day there were 16 kids in the group during Covid year. The same rude teacher one time brought me another child instead of mine. I shared my concerns with teacher Sabrina about the amount of adults inside that sometimes I couldn't even see my daughter but the teacher didn't seem even paying attention.
