This is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples. Moura Bistro serves meals that are organic, gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, grass-fed, Paleo, even Ayurvedic, so what more could you ask for? It can satisfy most diners. The food is very fresh and cooked on a grill or skillet (you can watch them cook it while you wait). They will cook it to your specifications (I have celiac disease so I can't have my food cooked in the same grill/skillet as food containing gluten). I always order the chicken shawarma (no pitta), with grilled zucchini and yellow squash, but my mother has the shrimp platter and it's gluten-free (no vermicelli rice) and amazing, too. The owner, Nabil, is very friendly and cares about the community. He provided hundreds of free meals to Hurricane Irma victims in Immokalee and Bonita Springs, hosted a lunch for a local non-profit that serves kids, raised about $700 during a wine event after Hurricane Irma and provided free meals to workers of agencies that came to Naples to help. Naples is a difficult place to have a restaurant due to the seasonality and many locals and national chains fail, so when there's a restaurant that caters to a healthy community that supports Blue Zones, organic food and healthy options, we eat there often so it remains here. It's centrally located and is the only Lebanese restaurant in Naples (another is expected in November 2017 in...
Read moreFantastic food & service. Everything was so fresh including the herbs.
Just a heads up, this was the most expensive Mediterranean food we've ever had but you get alot of bang for your buck.
He is a chicken shawarma junkie so was surprised it was over $20, for a sandwich but the shawarma was packed. Enough for lunch the next day. Came with garlic sauce (so good) potato wedges & I think hummus so it was a full plate.
It was the first time I tried cooked grape leaves. They were actually crispy on the outside & warm inside. It was good but I'll take the old cold ones.
There is alot of Lebanese influence so somethings are done a little different than traditional Med/Greek dishes.
What I will say is, without a doubt the best sauces we've ever had. Just so fresh. The tahini & their version of tzatziki was so creamy & addictive. Even the hummus.. You only think you've had hummus until you try Moura's
We had non stop fresh pita brought to table and even got to enjoy the live band from the Cuban rest next door, as we sat on the patio.
Tried a Lebanese red wine that was like a Malbec meets a Tempernillo. Fruity, rich & delicious. Also, great intl beer selection.
I could go on but it's best you just follow Roxanna's instructions. She will take you on a culinary tour that ends with baklava melting...
Read moreI am lebanese was visiting Miami when someone told us about the Lebanese restaurant in Naples, we visited and we didn't say anything about being Lebanese, we wanted to see what the hype was all about. We were warmly welcomed even though the place was packed, we knew we had to wait about 30 minutes before being seated, the hostess offered us water or something else to drink, I had a beer which was a Lebanese import highly recommended. We didn't feel the time waiting, we had some starters and ordered Hummus and Baba ghannouj which came out fast and tasted delicious, the bread was served the real authentic Lebanese way for those who said it's served in plastic that's the way we have it in Lebanon, I wish they made their own pita but it doesn't seem they have the space to put a brick oven. We ordered the chicken shawarma and the Lamb kabob which was moist and tasted really good, my wife ordered some Lebanese wine with it and couldn't get any better. The owner stopped by our table and introduced himself, very friendly and hospitable, the waitress was very friendly also and attentive to our drinks and kept out table clean. Our experience was excellent and the food was delicious we would definitely go back and will highly recommend everyone to go try Moura in Naples. FIVE STARS...
