Recently, I had a negative encounter with a company claiming to be affiliated with OT. This resulted in my leaving OT a 1-star review because they were the "middle man" in the equation. However, I have since deleted that review. I only mention it now to clear things up for anyone who may have read it. (As a Social Media Director, I am aware of the impact a negative review - even one - can have on a small business, and I would never want to ruin a business' reputation if unwarranted.)
To summarize, I emailed OT via their website with my complaint and never got a response. The review I posted was answered almost immediately by the company's owner, John. We spoke via phone to quickly resolve the misunderstanding and then met face-to-face. (I won't lie - I didn't just stop into the restaurant the following day for a chicken curry salad ... I was also spying to make sure he'd done what he said he had ... He did. =) ) He was very apologetic and seemed genuinely distraught over the whole situation. It was apparent that he cares (A LOT) about his business, and ultimately, I was satisfied just knowing my complaint was heard and addressed. (I did not ask for, nor receive anything other than a handshake and smile!) So, to John (who I know is reading this), I'd like to say thank you. Your kindness and authenticity have won me back as a customer. A++ service.
With all that out of the way ...The food at OT is fantastic! I am addicted to their curry chicken - probably the best I've ever had. The desserts are homemade and delicious, as are the refrigerated sides. I only wish there were more items on the menu, but there are usually daily specials to choose from. It's a bit pricey, but most organic restaurants are. At least here you get a heap of food.
The restaurant itself is colorful and vibrantly, and always clean. The employees always seem happy and greet you with a smile, and service is excellent. I highly recommend OT for a healthy,...

Read moreVegan food is often seen as having a ‘bad taste in the mouth’. The weird thing is, veggies can be delicious when seasoned well, cooked properly and served correctly. So what makes this place good? Well, it’s dishes of course! Silly question. This is vegan done right. Done with love and done with skill. Don’t let the hippy art fool you, they are serious about having a good time.
Service: Well, it’s seat yourself, it’s find your spot and it’s wait to be served. Nothing out of the extraordinary here BUT the treatment we got from the server was above and beyond anything we have had. Again, they are serious about having fun. Add kindness to that list.
Ambience: Holly dippy art; tree hugging goodness and crystal collecting artsy fartsy stuff. Don’t let that detract from the food if that’s not your thing. It’s definitely not mine though i grew up in a gem mining household.. don’t let anything detract from the warmth they bring, the foods amazing and it’s almost certainly with the price. $56 or so dollars for three people is understandable. Just please have more of a selection of drinks. That’s about it.
By all means come here or you’ll...
