Panera Bread — Restaurant in Florida

Whatever Manager or employee that works there with a red shirt with braids, tied up has absolutely no consideration for their DoorDash drivers. She canceled my order just because I parked right in front of the door where I was standing looking at my car to make sure it was good for others as well, but I was waiting for a DoorDash that was coming out in no time so there was no reason for me to park and waste my time for one and two There was no parking for me. The DoorDash was just about to come out in less than 30 seconds and she said that she would just cancel the order. Just because I wouldn’t move my car because the food was coming out in two seconds, so I was not gonna waste my time parking when the food was coming out and I was standing right next to my car inside of the building building but next to my car. I walked out and then I decided to walk back in and let her know that she is a reason why this society is so disgusting and people like her make it so difficult for people to just do their job. She wanted to give me a nasty attitude from the beginning over a car that was going to leave and literally less than 30 seconds. That is not how you handle situations at all, especially as a manager, embarrassing other people in front of other people so if she wanted to embarrass me. I will be sure to take this up with corporate. Costing a single mother Money when all she’s trying to do is get on her feet and you cancel an order over a car not being moved. I was gonna leave in 30 seconds is outrageous and you do not do that to other people.. Coming from a woman, I am absolutely disgusted that she even allowed herself to treat another woman like that. At 7:30 pm we placed on online order for curbside pickup ASAP. There were a few people eating but no one was in line or in the drive thru. We indicated that I was already there, and it was acknowledged. At 7:40 we received an email that our meals were ready and to hit the "I'm Here" button. I tapped the button and received a message that they had already been informed that I was there, and that our food would be coming. At 8:00 I still didn't have my food, so I wound up having to go into the restaurant. I explained the timeline to the person working the counter. She apologized but was not helpful. A manager heard the "discussion" and came over. She asked me why I hadn't hit the "I'm Here" button on the acknowledgement email. Now I'm getting extremely frustrated, so I went through the timeline again. She asked for my name, reached behind her, and grabbed my bag of food, apologizing the entire time. I explained to her that this was the 3rd time in row that we had issues with curbside pickup at this location. Of course, when I got home, the soup was cold and my "hot" sandwich was cold and soggy.

I’m absolutely giving us a five star, forget that, 20 star review, based on the incredible service I just got from manager Danielle and employee Basado! At first, completely out of their control in the drive-through line, their credit card machine was not working! But they told me not to drive away without my food, and instead of wait while they restarted it, and luckily it ended up working! This would’ve been an incident that people would’ve absolutely bitched and moaned about, even though it was not an employees control for that not working! So I just want to give them both a huge shout out for staying calm with a drive-through line of at least 30 cars, and getting it back online and correcting it right away! They always have the best service in Seminole county in my opinion for a drive-through line and tonight was no different! To anybody in leadership reading this, you need to promote both of these employees ASAP! Their personable skills could not have possibly been any better!
