Have you ever had a poke bowl? If not, you’ll be spoiled to have Island Fin Poke as your first experience. If you HAVE enjoyed poke before then you will REALLY appreciate how awesome this place is. If you are looking for a FANTASTIC healthy place to eat in Seminole County-look no further. I can’t imagine you could get any ‘fresher’ food -and this point is extra important to me when it comes to eating seafood at a restaurant…especially raw seafood. (I had the spicy tuna bowl and the tuna is raw on this dish) The tuna was very fresh, tender and seasoned perfectly. The entire store was spotless and the food presentation area was clean and tidy. Lake Mary is lucky to have this spot in their town. This strip center is very close to I-4 for those of you coming in from other areas. There are 6 large indoor tables and a couple smaller tables outside. The staff was very kind and gracious. Lila helped me w my order. You can easily see how much pride the owners take in this restaurant because of their decor ,food and kindness while engaging with their customers. Lastly- I have to mention their ‘Dole Whip’ dessert. They rotate the flavor they offer, but any flavor is a real treat. I remember Dole Whip from a trip I took to Disney and was happy to find out all these years later that another establishment also sells ‘Dole Whip’. It is a non-dairy ,soft serve fruity frozen...
Read moreThey charge 21 dollars for one Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl but make it a “buy one get one free” so it seems like you’re getting a good deal but the 21 dollars is worth two poke bowls so it is not anything special, they do this so they maximize profits lol instead of having someone order only one poke bowl, also the Hawaiian Sun you can order a 6 pack for 6 dollars here it is 3 dollars, the poke bowl was very mediocre
Update: The Ahi Tuna poke bowl was medium-sized and felt very lazy, this is 8 dollars at most, as for the Hawaiian, it’s on the Hawaiian Sun page and click on the affiliate link and you’ll find a pack of 6 for 6 dollars once again. Why waste money here when you can make a better, NOT mediocre poke bowl for way cheaper and not get ripped off from the beverage? And no, I did not choose to make my own bowl I chose the Ahi Tuna poke bowl and that was not my criticism, the ingredients were simply not good. Maybe your regular customers are simply unaware of how poke is supposed to taste Edit 2: They’ve went back and reduced the price of the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to 17 dollars. They were scamming their customers every time a Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was ordered, and yet 17 dollars is still a scam for that small, mediocre bowl. Hawaiian Sun is still 3 dollars, so there’s your 2 dollar difference...
