I never write reviews bc I used to be a longtime F&B employee so I can empathize with the trial and errors of a new location but Corporate needs to take over this place before the health inspector does. I think the kitchen forgets we can see them… I could give a bunch of examples but they wipe off surfaces or their pants with their gloves then go and break the bread. Watching them make your order will make you not want the food by the time you get it 20 min later. Eating while working, laughing it up with coworkers while orders just sit thete. No sense of urgency from anyone. This place is also WAY too new and SLOW to be so dirty all the time. managers are also part of the problem and have the same “don’t care” attitude as the kids that work there. They also reprimand staff and storm into the back in front of customers. Once again, WE CAN SEE YOU. Ppl in the community were so excited to have this open. But because we all have had the same poor experience, that excitement has quickly dissipated. Another restaurant is opening in the same plaza and hope to have better luck because YIKES....
Read moreIt's Panera Bread newest location in Delray Beach. I've been here many times already in the last 3-4 months since I live 7 min.away. I like the outdoor patio and inside the interior, all nice and new. Plenty of parking and drive-thru. But there are drawbacks: they don't have microvawe for customers use anymore, they never have a hot water thermos out for some unknown and bizzare reason, also most of the time there is nobody at the front counter especially in afternoons. Preparation service is slow. Panera had 5 different teabags, now only 3, and also since they declared war on lemon weges few years back one can't get any lemon for iced or hot teas or other beverages, not even lemon juice! Employees look unhappy and don't greet customers. There are often corporate "big wigs" hang out, but without use or care. Hopefully they clean up the house in mid and upper management and turn company around, before these woke geniuses run it...
Read moreI love Panera and was so excited to have one open so close to my home. When we ate there, it was wonderful.
That has not been the case with our delivery orders. The first time we ordered, my daughter's turkey and cheese sandwich came with no turkey. My husband has also removed tomatoes from his sandwich, but they were on the sandwich when it arrived. I spoke to the GM, who was apologetic, and he promised to refund the sandwich for my daughter. It has been a week and I haven't received the refund. But, we decided to try again anyway. This time, I didn't receive one of the sandwiches AT ALL. When I called the store, I was told that they can have my sandwich waiting for me to come pick up, even though i PAID FOR DELIVERY, or I could get a refund.
When I explained that I was at the pool with my family and NO LUNCH, I was told that he would refund my money. I am at the point where I will not return to this location. This is not...
