Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I usually do pick up order but tonight I’m having a flare up from a chronic illness, so I did delivery. I’m NOT impressed, whoever was working tonight packing to go orders CLEARLY hates their job, I’ve attached a picture of my pizza, I didn’t get a picture of my husbands pizza until after he cut it and started eating, my pizza was cut really haphazardly for one and felt like cardboard it was so dry and hard. My husbands pizza wasn’t even cut at all. Food was cold (MIND YOU this place is 5 minutes from my house….)and I ordered 4 garlic sauces for only 1 too arrive, the nice lady on the phone said the driver would be back after his next 2 orders to drop the other 3 lets hope that’s true. Not impressed with quality and reliability tonight :( I love papa johns and this place is usually great but dinner was not really all that enjoyable and tonights packer needs to get it together, I spent 2 hours worth of labor at my job on my dinner to receive crap, I’m not happy man. The crew is usually better than this.

UPDATE: NOT doordash but an actual papajohns delivery car brought me my extra garlic sauces, listen if y’all are gonna do delivery STOP USING DOORDASH IF YALL HAVE YOUR OWN DELIVERY DRIVERS?! Doordash SUCKS and never ever brings my food right from anywhere, why couldn’t a papa Johns employee just delivered my pizzas in the first place??? Absolutely ridiculous, stop working with these terrible delivery services it’s gonna do nothing but drive away...

So when we have gotten food, it’s been good. No problems with quality, from what I’m currently remembering. It’s always a bit greasy for my taste but nothing technically wrong. And when I have talked to a worker, from either carry out or delivery, they’ve been super nice.

Hell the last time, I had been told the wrong total, and I sadly didn’t have enough for a tip, barely had enough for the pizza on hand. Unexpectedly, of course. He was super patient with me, as I dug through my car for spare change. And just happily told me to get him next time when I apologized for not having the tip.

WELL, tonight we ordered, I got a confirmation message saying 27-37 minutes. 50 minutes later, I decide to call. Nobody answers the phone, they never do for some reason. Yet the one time I did a carry out order, I walked in to see 5 employees and a manager all standing right at the front counter. And the app is no longer acknowledging I had an order either. Shame too, because I had put aside extra cash for that very nice delivery driver too, just in case we got that gentleman again.

After reading other reviews, I’m guessing my order got canceled and I didn’t get a courtesy text. Thanks, Papa John’s. A simple message would...

I have ordered from this location for years and have only ever had small issues, I'm not the complaining over everyday mistakes type but on 5/15/2021 just b4 11pm I placed a fairly large online order and site said 28-38mins for delivery (no prob it's late on Saturday) right before midnight we start wondering and get a call from our driver and he says he's lost. We walk outside and he's right across the street no issues still. We apologies and let him know it's no big deal we're just happy our food has arrived. Get inside finish picking up the house sit down to eat and both of our pizzas taste funny. Well upon inspection found neither had any sauce at all. At this point the store is closed but almost$50 lost I send and email including order number which they say is incorrect (fix your website or order numbersdriver and now it's Wednesday and I still haven't gotten a response to make it right. Think I'll be ordering from dominos from now on can't believe the customer service. Oh and I did double check my ticket on the pizza and online and both were ordered correctly with regular sauce. I didn't want to write this but a $50 mistake on your part is...
