Party Cake Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

I woke up on Sunday morning excited to have breakfast at this highly anticipated location that recently opened. I arrived and there were only a few people and most tables were empty. It’s a beautiful location so I had high hopes. I placed my breakfast order and paid which I had to make a separate line to do so. Within minutes it started getting packed and the lady that helped me gives me my coffee and pastry but I was still waiting for my sandwich. I waited and waited and stood there for about 20 minutes. I finally spoke to the owner to express how disorganized it was and he did help and tried to find out what was the delay and offered me a free coffee. However by the time I got my sandwich there were no seats left and I had to ask for it to go. People that came with families just sat down and had one member wait for the food but I went alone so I had no choice but to stand and wait. I was disappointed that I couldn’t even enjoy my breakfast at this new location and had to go home. I highly suggest you provide numbers to guests that request to eat there and have their food taken to the table once ready. Also the same person taking the order should be the person to charge you. I shouldn’t have to make a separate line to pay. I think that will help as many people were complaining of how disorganized and chaotic it was. I don’t think I’ll be going back at least not alone until they get their act together. Ayer con una amiga mía estuvimos en este lugar con mucha expectativa, en mi caso hacía años que no podía esperar a que abriera y cerca de mi compañía, finalmente me decía un lugar cercano donde poder llevar a mis clientes pero fue una experiencia decepcionante. Estuvimos allí a las 5:30pm me tomé un descanso del trabajo y quería disfrutar de un momento de relajación y disfrutar de algunas especialidades cubanas con un buen café.

La primera sensación que tuvimos es el increíble olor a frito estaba en marcado contraste con el espacio grande, nuevo y amplio del local, era como entrar directamente en una freidora y no en una pastelería.

Sin embargo, decidimos confiar y al acercarnos al escaparate dedicado al asador cubano estaba prácticamente vacío, 4 empanadas quemadas, tres pastelitos de queso, y otras dos tres piezas. Le pregunto a la empleada si estaban a punto de cerrar y me dice que cerrarían a las 8:00pm, luego le pregunto si todavía habrían salido del asador fresco de la cocina porque esas empanadas de la vitrina estaban exageradamente cocidas. Me dice que puede hacerla para nosotros y feliz en este punto a pesar de que sólo queríamos dos, ordeno algunas más para llevar a casa. Nos sentamos, las mesas estaban todas vacias menos una, nos sentamos en la mesa y estaba llena de migas y restos de comida del cliente anterior y después de unos minutos nos traen la comida a la mesa es inútil decirte que también eran peores de los que tenían listos (que no quise comprar) ….fritas y fritas y aún peor, no solo estaban más allá del límite de una buena y saludable cocción, sino que estaban llenas de aceite, créeme en la palabra que en este aceite nos fríen desde el día que abrieron durante al menos 15 días. Le pregunto a la camarera por qué me los había hecho hacer tan negros a pesar de haberle preguntado que no los quería como los de la ventana; su respuesta fue que al ser un producto congelado el aceite debe estar bien caliente o de lo contrario permanecen fríos por dentro, me quedé sin palabras.

¿Producto congelado? ¿De qué tienen miedo de tirar alguna empanada si ese día no se vende? ¿El laboratorio de al lado es sólo espectáculo?

Salimos del local 1/2 hora después de que olíamos a frito, pelo, ropa, intenta imaginar si una persona vuelve a la oficina o tiene un compromiso justo después.

Sinceramente, estoy decepcionada, pensar que han abierto más de 10 pastelerías como he leído en su folleto, todavía tienen que aprender mucho sobre las expectativas del cliente, ¡ciertamente el nivel de servicio y la calidad de los ingredientes utilizados es definitivamente bajo!

Ahora estoy indecisa si devolver la comida que nos llevamos a casa porque huele a aceite viejo frito .... o intentar darle otra oportunidad y ver si fue solo una coincidencia.

Party Cake Bakery is a delightful treasure that I can't recommend enough! They offer a fantastic variety of pastries that are always fresh and absolutely delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or a savory snack, their selection of desserts is sure to satisfy any craving.

One of my personal favorites is their cortadito and café con leche, which are both excellent and the perfect companions to my Sunday breakfast. The bakery has quickly become my go-to spot for a quick bite on weekends.

However, there are a couple of downsides. The limited seating capacity can be a bit of a challenge, especially during busy hours. Additionally, I believe they should consider adding a second register, as the lines can get quite long on weekends.
