Penny Hill Subs — Restaurant in Florida

feeling pretty sad this afternoon after visiting my favorite sub shop Penny Hill. I've been a loyal customer to this family owned sub shop for years.. two weeks ago I ordered the BLT and was disappointed due to it having one piece of bacon on it.. for not a cheap price. Today I got a monte carlo, with one piece of turkey on it ... i went back into complain and there was nothing they were willing to do to fix it. said this is the way the subs are made, if you want a sub with more meat to order a different sub?? so then why did the blt only have one piece of meat and why is the amount of meat changing per sub? i'm still so confused and so disappointed in this new change, this has never been an issue in the past.. also being smirked at was a crappy feeling, especially when you left them a tip. just be careful where you're spending...

Wow! Just wow! So happy to discover a locally owned sandwich shop.

The sandwich shop is quite small and it doesn’t offer that much indoor seating but there are some tables to sit and eat outside.

The staff was super friendly and they made their recommendations and asked me if I ever been here before. I told them it was my first time but I was set on getting a muffuletta.

Boy, was I glad with my choice because it was one of the best muffuletta sandwiches I’ve had in a while! My dad ordered a Philly Steak & Cheese and he liked his. I had a bit too, and it wasn’t too bad. I think I really enjoyed my selection a lot more.

Prices are fair and they aren’t too busy at the time I came.

I will definitely be coming back to try more of...

Nice clean establishment, friendly and courteous staff, decent deals on the subs though they could use more quality ingredients. Did not realize they put pickles on the Italian sub but that is an easy fix. Otherwise everything was ok.

I have gone back several times and each time was worse. The staff seem to reflect the personality of the owner/manager, who in saw yell at a customer wanting extra sauce.

Maybe it is because some of their competition went out of business recently but my last order was not made as a I requested and they neglected to give me the sauce on the side. They seem to have a sauce issue.
