Decent food, can't deny but customer service is HORRIBLE! 1st order, we called in our order in advance for pickup and waited 20 min for it to be ready when we got there, no apologies or anything. 2nd order attempt. Called in to place pickup order and was asked if I would hold for a moment. waited over 10 min but guy didnt ever pick the phone back up and at the 10 min point I hung up. Initially he was talking to someone and then not talking to anyone but didnt seem to care to attend to the customer he placed on hold 10 minutes earlier smh. Called back 3 times and they would not answer. 3rd attempt, next day.... called and placed order to go and called order in 2 hours in advance so it would be ready unlike the first time. Upon arrival order not ready. Merchant had advertised on local flavor and I had a coupon but didnt realize it was dine in only. Staff said owner got on them about letting people carryout instead of eat in (the dining environment is not like a fine dining or even ruby tuesdays chain.....it's similar to if you went to long John Silvers and ate in instead of carryout or drive through) and was told that the owner watches everything on camera in the restaurant and yells at them and they get in trouble. I was like okay , can you make a one time exception and next time we eat in worker and manager said no. I said well I can unload my order, eat a few bites and leave with the rest then. Unwilling to take the coupon and asked for owner's number because of the service and my husband left a message and received no phone call back. 4th attempt of using local flavor coupons....this time we were prepared to dine in and ordered our food. We provided first coupon and after it was used went to use other coupon and they used and marked both coupons (some confusion because we presented a screen shot of the coupon initially and they needed to mark it redeemed on the original and so both coupons were showing as redeemed after manually inputting first coupon code and pressing redeem on second coupon). We were told they had to be used separately so my husband said okay we will take one order today, please remove the other items and void the other redeemed coupon and were told they couldnt void out transaction where local flavor coupons used so now we had 2 redeemed local flavor coupons, a balance left and no food. Working with local flavor or credit card company to dispute or get refund on local flavor coupons from this place. I don't think I have ever had such poor customer service from a local flavor vendor or restaurant in general. Speaking to the staff it seems they do not feel empowered to give good customer service and because we never received a call back from the owner it seems he could care less. My advice to him, if he is reading this is (and we run two businesses) treat your customers the way you would like to be treated, empower your staff to not only make excellent food but render beyond exceptional service. Your acquisition cost for new customers (using local flavor or any other marketing) is costing you money so why not make their experience one to remember and not in a bad way that way you retain them even after using their coupons otherwise what is the point in advertising and trying to bring in new business.....as you can may be able to tell I rarely leave reviews but feel obligated to leave this in the wake of not hearing back from the owner and after the poor service we received on more than...
Read more**Update: The owner, I do believe, refunded part of our order after I discovered they had a Facebook page and sent a message there in hopes of speaking with someone other than the individual I originally talked to. They told me they were going to handle the issue with their employee's behavior as well. I received a message back within, I'd say, an hour of my initial message. I truly hope that this same attitude and attentiveness to customer's concerns rubs off on the employee I spoke with originally. We appreciate the partial refund and highly recommend anyone with a concern reach out to their Facebook page! The food was good and my family did enjoy it. Thank you again for righting this wrong. This community doesn't have much to offer as far as dining goes, so it makes my family happy that we were able to clear this up and will continue to keep doing business here in the future. **Original review: We were missing food we paid extra for (an extra side of fries. Come to find out the kids meal is supposed to come with a side of fries and a drink, we were told it didn't so paid for some.) I also ordered a gyro that was supposed to come with a side. My order only came with one side of fries. The platter was given the wrong side dish and missing the pita bread it's supposed to come with. I called to get a refund on the food that was missing from our order. The person who answered (the cook) automatically got an attitude with me. Said we misinterpreted the menu and he gave us the correct side dish, but completely ignored everything else I was saying. He hung up on me twice and told me that I was holding up his phone line. I called back multiple times to try and speak with someone else to get this handled and the phone was answered and ignored for one of those calls. The rest of my calls went unanswered. I sat there for 5 mins listening to him speak to...

Hear ye, hear ye, fellow epicureans! Join me on a gyro odyssey that spans from the legendary halls of Oakland Gyros in Milwaukee to the quaint streets of Ruskin, home to Pita Kebob.
Oakland Gyros: The Mount Olympus of Gyros Oakland Gyros, my gyro sanctuary for 35 years, is where the gods of flavor and abundance reside. Each gyro here is a Homeric epic, a perfect symphony of lamb, tzatziki, and pita – an experience akin to dining with Zeus and Athena!
Pita Kebob: A Ruskin Adventure In the realm of Ruskin, Pita Kebob stands, a humble abode aspiring to the heights of gyro greatness. My quest? The lamb gyro lunch special. But alas, compared to Milwaukee's ambrosia, this was mere mortal fare. The lamb, scanty as a laurel wreath, lacked the Olympian flavors I'd voyaged for. The fries, a sidekick to the hero, were passable, but the ketchup – oh, the ketchup! As generic as a Trojan horse, it lacked the Heinzian nectar I crave.
The temple of Pita Kebob, seating a council of 20, was as Spartan as its offerings – simple, unadorned, echoing the plains of Marathon rather than the riches of Delphi.
The Verdict of the Oracle Would I, a seasoned gyro pilgrim, return to the shores of Pita Kebob? My oracle foretells unlikely. The lamb gyro, though a valiant effort, could not ascend to the heights of my Milwaukee Elysium. The quest for gyro greatness continues, with Pita Kebob a mere footnote in my epic.
So concludes my gyro odyssey – a journey of hope, a skirmish with mediocrity, and a yearning for the feasts of...
