Delivery Order thru UberEats.
3 bowls and a drink, with the uber fees was $70.
Food was awful. Rice was completely soaked in the eel sauce, and did not taste like the Japanese sushi rice they used to make. We ate here a long time ago when they opened in person, and it was much better. There was no masago in the bowl, and we ended up getting a smaller portion than regular due to the increase of costs, which I get. It's hard to run a restaurant these days with such high food and labor costs.
That said, it is that much more important to stick to the recipe standard and not let ill-trained or rushed employees make orders. We literally had to throw one bowl away because of how soaked the dish was, and it was a complete waste of money. There was barely any decent toppings, no option for seasoning toppings either like you would get in a normal Poke ordering situation (like crunchy onions, furikake, sesame seeds, etc).
The pineapple they used was canned pineapple (gross!), not fresh like the photo. I think it is a good idea to remove menu items that you can't make, so that the staff can just focus on doing the right things 100%, instead of trying to make an almost right bowl. This was super disappointing, I can't believe I spent almost $75 on such bad food.
The presentation was also really messy, like they just threw it together. I know it wasn't due to delivery because the bowls were stacked well and packed well. Just super disappointed, wish we could have requested a refund, but I don't want to put the restaurant out of more costs. Just don't order...
Read moreMy normal go to poke place was closed due to an injury by the owner. I saw this online and it was only about a mile up the road from where I usually go.
The place was very clean, and the service was excellent. The girls behind the counter were very friendly and attentive, and they produced my order of two bowls very quickly.
However, you go to eat poke for the sushi. I had spicy tuna, Ahi tuna, and salmon in my bowls. I should have known something was wrong when the inside of my car smelled fishy as I was driving home. The salmon was tasteless and very slimy. The tuna had barely any flavor, but was better than the salmon. Overall, the fish was the worst I have ever had for sushi or poke. Extremely disappointing.
The overall flavor of the bowl was completely underwhelming and had a funky flavor to it. I could only eat half of the bowl before I realized I should quit and it just wasn’t very good.
I am now not feeling well, have had two trips to the restroom, and I’m afraid the fish was not good. My wife also just reported to me that she is not feeling well. She does not want to have this again.
I will not be able to return to this place. It seemed promising, but like another review I just read, the proteins were not good.
For over $36 for my takeout order of two bowls, this was a disaster. They really need to pay attention to their fish freshness and quality.
There is a very high-quality poke restaurant just about a mile down the road...
Read moreIt was my second time trying Poke. My first time I had it for a quick lunch with a friend at a place that offered Poke Bowl but it wasn't their specialty. This place rocked my world! To begin, the staff is super welcoming and friendly. They are very knowledgable about Poke Bowls and their offerings. They offered suggestions since I shared that my first experience wasn't the best. I had an Ahi Tuna with Sushi Rice Bowl, pineapple, seaweed salad, edamame, carrots, spicy mayo, eel sauce, cucumber and crunchy onions- WOW. It was fresh and every bite was delicious. I am excited to bring my friends and colleagues for a delicious Poke Bowl at Poke Fusion. Thank you Poke Bowl Team for a great Poke Experience! If you haven't tried them, go get a Poke Bowl with a friend. They also offer beer, wine and...
