Stopped in yesterday after my doctors appointment and I’m so glad I discovered another local boba shop in town. Firstly I have to say I wish more shops had a self service kiosk, their system was easy to navigate - I was able to customize both of my drinks based on the desired toppings (one size I’d say they were a L for both drinks) I love that they offer milk alternatives such as almond and oat milk! I ordered both the Rose milk tea and Brown sugar milk tea w/ our usual 2 servings of boba (they offer crystal boba, brown sugar boba, brown sugar crystal, lychee jelly & more!) I was hesitant to try the Rose milk tea but kind lady in the back encouraged me to try it and I’m SO glad I did. Sweetness level was perfect as well as the drink itself was freshly steeped (you can easily tell a difference between fresh tea and or powdered) however this small but cute shop brews their tea fresh! The rose was a nice compliment to the boba which was the perfect texture and chewiness. All in all my experience was relaxed and I was in and out within 20 mins or less. If you’re looking for a cozy lofi aesthetic with little to no contact just peacefully order your boba and go.. this is certainly the place for you! Sadly I am about 45 min away but given this is now added to my list of favorite spots in town I will make the...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite places and about a week ago I’d say it was one of the best boba places I’ve been to. Drinks were consistent and orders were perfect! I went in today and was disappointed. Normally there’s one lady (who I think is the owner) who makes the drinks perfectly. Today there were two new workers so they may still be training but the drinks didn’t seem the way they usually are. They both had ice when we requested no ice, but it was nice for them to remove it after we asked. Unfortunately the ice had made the drink already cooler than it typically is and my throat is sensitive to cooler drinks so my throat felt a bit irritated after. We also got a drink with oat milk and I’m a little suspicious if it really was made with oat milk. When we asked one of the ladies at the front, she confirmed but I noticed she seem to be asking the other lady immediately after if it had been made with oat milk in another language. I wish she would’ve checked with prior to saying yes because I’m unsure whether it’s true at this point. It was essential to know because of an intolerance to dairy milk. Overall I really liked this place but don’t know if I’ll continue to go unless the drinks are the way...
Read moreSo I ordered a chocolate latte, which is what I always order, but this time is was SUPER sweet. I wasn't able to finish it because it was so sweet. So I call to let them know the chocolate latte was to sweet and didn't have any coffee flavor in it. But she said that the chocolate latte doesn't have coffee in it! I was so confused? I told her then why is there latte in the name ? The definition of latte is COFFEE made with espresso shot and milk. If you have a chocolate latte on the menu then it should be espresso shot, coffee, milk, and chocolate ... but she said no I was wrong and that the recipe didn't change...I was very disappointed because I was giving constructive criticism to ensure my fave drink stays the same, but she was defensive which leads me to believe that she will continue to sell " cold chocolate milk" and call it a latte smh if it was always just chocolate milk with no coffee then it must have been the coffee jelly that I add that gave it the coffee flavor, but even that taste like syrup today smh sooooo disappointed.i don't think I will...
