Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

The food here is always good. Which is why my boyfriend and I had continued to come, despite having the worst guest service almost every time we come through. Most of the staff is rude and impatient. They argue with you when something is wrong. They openly mock and insult you and other guest. One time we came through and the lady who was taking our order was having a hard time understanding what we wanted. Which happens. We weren't mad about it. What upset me was after having to repeat our order 5 times, we pulled up to the window and the lady there told us that we looked like a real Scooby doo couple and then brought her fingers to her lips to pretend like she was smoking a blunt. Our bags were practically thrown at us and they forgot our sauce. We patiently waited for a couple minutes. Many members of the staff stared but no one came. I could write a novel on the rude service we have received here. Today, at least for us is when we decided we will never return to this store. My boyfriend works over night and when he comes home he doesn't like to eat breakfast food. We decided to get Popeyes. I will admit that I thought they opened at 10 and not 1030. So that is totally my fault. However when we pulled up to the drive thru the greeting went off. "Its a great day at popeyes." So I would still obviously assume that they were in fact open. It was 1015am. I had another women ask for my order. We saw that Popeyes had a different meal option we hadn't seen before. So we asked about that and silence fell. Which is whatever. So to the best of my abilities I figured out what was in it. We quickly decided what we wanted and I started relaying my order. I finished my order and I was met with more silence. We sat there waiting. And then a woman comes over the speaker again, "we don't open until 10:30 ma." It was loud and very rude. My question is why didn't you say that at the beginning. Ordered family chicken meal with two large sides also two shrimp baskets with one side each had it delivered through a delivery company. Well text us that they where out of shrimp. Also mind you we put order in around 8:30pm and they close at 10 pm. Now the food got delivered and had only one large side and a large side with like barley a scoop of beans and rice. So I drove up to the Popeyes which the purpose for delivery I didn't want to. I went to the drive through and talk to the manager and she said, we have all the side that's missing Mac cheese ,mash potatoes and beans and rice and Cole slaw. However the strange thing is they gave me a bunch of large cups of side barely full for small sides instead of using one or two cups to make up the difference. They wasted a lot of paper goods that night. Overall was very disappointed especially having to drive up there close to closing 9:45pm and that they didn't commit driver the sides where not in bag. I think they had to many people handling the order because I had cocktail sauce and tarter but no shrimp hmmmm. I blame management because they did not execute this order in a timely manner however they did give me all my sides and substitute my shrimp wit tenders. Also more chicken that I ordered. It's sad to say, because Popeyes food supersedes the reputation. I've been going to Popeyes since I was 5 and now I'm 47 and I live in cape coral/ FortMyers area in Florida and every location I've been to it's always a problem except FortMyers on Fowler Ave however all the ones in cape and Lehigh an issue everytime. However my family and I always takes our chances because we love the taste...

I wish there was a negative star option. Stopped by to grab dinner for tonight and the service was very much subpar. I ordered the $20.99 meal and pulled up and forgot Lemonade for my daughter. No biggy! I’ll ask at the window! So I thought…they refused to ring up the drink and said that they couldn’t add and I should’ve had it all together at the speaker. I asked to pay and then pay for the drink or could they swing and ring it up at the register. Again they refused. The assistant manager I could see just standing there and to me surprise she also refused to the guy Ant. I was then told to go around or come because they had other customers. Some guy who said his name was Fletcher came to the window puffed his chest and said “you can pay and move on” I said I had no problem paying I wanted lemonade as well. I asked if he was a manager he had the audacity to pop his shirt and look down like the shirt was Gucci. Then said My name is Fletcher tell them that. Shut the window and refused service. He then had the other workers walk out the store and take payment from the cars behind me. The young girl shouted when she walked past…it’s always the black people! I decided to call cooperate because I was so appalled by the customer service. While speaking to cooperate they called the sheriffs department. When the sheriffs department arrived they said it was a waste of resources over lemonade and the time it took to get there they could have given me the lemonade!
