We walked into the front doors and waited. There was no acknowledgment from anyone behind the counter, no hostess, no greeting from anyone. We had to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves at which point the "hostess", using that term lightly, said she would seat us. There was no name tag on the hostess she was a young girl tall slender dark hair. We were seated in a booth and shortly after, ordered breakfast. Our server, Maureen, was very attentive and very nice. We ordered the magnificent seven and the everything omelette. Instead of breads and potatoes I asked for fresh fruit. We started eating our breakfast and I noticed that my omelette was half cooked. The eggs were wet and snotty; I mean almost raw egg snotty. We then started eating the fresh fruit and there was something black in it and I scooted it to the side of the dish, thinking it was a seed, and realized it was a bug. We brought this to Maureen's attention and she removed my breakfast from the table and asked if I wanted anything else. We both pretty much stopped eating at that point because we're both grossed out. Maureen had my breakfast removed from the check. Maureen was very apologetic even though none of this was her fault. We walked up to the cash register to pay our check and again we weren't acknowledged. The "hostess" was turned around, doing something next to nothing on the counter behind her. We waited a couple of minutes thinking that she would at least notice someone standing at the register. When she finally did come over to the register I handed her our check and she rang something in, then just turned around and walked away!!!? She came back a minute later but instead of walking back to us, still standing at the register, she turned around to piddle around at the counter behind the register again. We waited several minutes, being ignored, then I had to call out to her and ask her what's going on? Then she came over to register and she said it's froze, in her unfriendly monotone voice and rude hauty face. NOT one time did this girl smile. Not one time did she tell me what was going on before she rudely walked away and ignored us. Shortly thereafter, another lady came out to the register who I would assume is the manager. She didn't acknowledge us either. She worked on the register and apparently she couldn't get it to work. They rerang our ticket on a second register. There is a tablet/screen for customer's payments, but it never prompted me to tap or swipe my card. Again, not saying a word to us, the girl just reached her hand out as if to take my card but never asked for my card. She just put her hand out like a begger. THE BEST THING THIS PLACE HAS GOING FOR IT WAS OUR SERVER. SHE WAS VERY GOOD. UNFORTUNATELY SHE IS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A BAD SITUATION. They need to replace that hostess with somebody who has a personality. Find someone who can actually cook and not serve raw food or food with bugs in it. The manager wasn't much better. You don't come out when there's an issue and a customer has been waiting for several minutes and not apologize or at least acknowledge them! Bugs in your food, snotty runny omelette, rude hostess, and oblivious manager. Don't waste your time...
Read morePlaced an order at 815 this evening and waited 2 hours. Checked bags quickly and seen missing fruit cups missing went back inside and asked for em got home all the kids meals are missing their toppings. Seems to be getting worse and worse 2 tables in the whole building so why 2 hours who knows but yeah. When I ordered girl said an hour and even then I was like huh it shouldn’t be that long for some pancakes so showed up about half hour after and she says yeah it’s gonna be a while I said what’s a while she said I don’t know I can check we been really slow 😂 then realized what she said and said I meant busy as I’m looking at the restaurant with absolutely no tables other than the 1 party of maybe 10 and a 2 top so I paid and even tipped her REALLY well. Too well tbh went home took a shower and husband went in 945 he said he was waiting said manager is saying 1 cook and big party I asked him you mean the big party sitting right up front that was there an hour ago when I stopped? He said yeah there’s a big table up front told him come back I’ll go up. Thankfully 2 hours after I order it’s up. Please explain why it took 2 hours for some pancakes and eggs??? Where is the old manager at least when he was there food went out! There’s a reason your restaurant is doing so horribly and no one wants to go!!! Service at tables suck and now you are screwing up take out?! I order here at LEAST once a month the other manager knows me and knows I always take care of you guys. I’ve even asked the manager why servers seem to take so long on their tables and why it seems he’s always running around doing everything he told me no one works and he has to cut. I always see they will sit at tables with friends and family all the time just fine! You can be standing there forever and they won’t even greet you or anything. It was always the one manager. Doubt I’ll be coming anymore after tonight. I can see if I ordered a bunch of steaks and burgers differently cooked but literally ordered pancakes! What I witnessed tonight was 10 times more insane than normal and guess what the 10 top was still there when I went in and one other 2 top so I DOUBT it was due to “being busy” I think she was right the first time and it was slow and people didn’t want to work. When we arrived the restaurant was dirty. It wasn't very busy but many of the tables in our area we're not cleaned - including ours. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. The table had a sticky residue on it, which I cleaned myself.
When our food came out the included side items for two of the orders (the kids meals) were not included and my main entree, a steak, never got made. They forgot to put the order in for it. I did get my side salad, however...but they forgot the dressing.
The pancakes that my children ordered tasted like they were just heated up in the microwave and stale, lacking any of the normal items (whip cream, chocolate chips, etc). They just looked like pancakes microwaved and tossed carelessly on a plate. They tasted like cardboard with hard edges.
I had to ask three times for their side items (just fruit and fries) and by the time I was told my steak would be ready, my kids would be done eating. I told them just to nevermind the steak. At least my kids got to eat.
There was floating objects in one of my children's drinks and we had to ask for a new one, then they tried to charge us for it.
The manager on duty comped the meal when I asked why we were being charged for a drink that we had to send back, so that was appreciated and he was polite and apologized, but the experience was pretty bad.
We go back about every 6 months and it seems like every time I say we'll never come back again but for some...
