Restaurant Review: Popeyes in Marianna, FL
I recently ordered from the Popeyes location in Marianna, FL, and my experience was deeply disappointing. I placed an order for three tackle boxes: two with a side of Cajun fries and one with a side of macaroni and cheese, along with three large drinks (two Sprites and one Dr. Pepper). Unfortunately, the order was fraught with issues from start to finish.
Firstly, the drinks were a major letdown. None of them had ice, and all three were devoid of syrup, making them nothing more than carbonated water. This was an immediate red flag about the quality of service at this location.
The tackle boxes, which were supposed to contain large fried shrimp with tails attached, instead had old and unappetizing popcorn shrimp. This substitution was not only disappointing but also unacceptable, considering the significant difference in quality and expectation.
The side of macaroni and cheese was another point of contention. It appeared to have been sitting out all day, making it look unappetizing and stale. Adding to the list of grievances, the sauces (tartar and cocktail) that I had ordered were missing, and there were no utensils provided, making it difficult to enjoy the meal properly.
The most egregious issue, however, was finding hair in the food. This is a clear violation of basic hygiene standards and is entirely unacceptable under any circumstance.
Despite these numerous problems, I must commend the Uber delivery service. The driver provided phenomenal service, and it’s important to note that they cannot be blamed for the poor condition of the food, as the bag was sealed and could not be checked for accuracy or quality.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Popeyes location in Marianna, FL, to anyone. The entire experience was a waste of money, and given the prices at Popeyes, it felt particularly egregious. I hope this review helps others avoid a similarly...
Read moreFrom the manager that was on duty to the employee running the register, all was terrible including the food took 10 minutes to get a two-piece dinner, the manager is unprofessional and you have employees in the back around the sink area cussing talking all kinds of crazy in front of customers it really does give you an idea of the type of people that live around this area and that they employ. It definitely seems as if the employees are unhappy not only with there job but it's the customs problem.
Dear Management,
I recently visited your establishment and was extremely disappointed with the service and overall experience. From the manager on duty to the employee running the register, the level of professionalism was lacking.
It took 10 minutes to receive a simple two-piece dinner, which is unacceptable for a quick-service restaurant. Additionally, the manager displayed unprofessional behavior, and employees in the back, near the sink area, were loudly cursing and engaging in inappropriate conversations within earshot of customers. This creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.
Moreover, it was apparent that the staff seemed unhappy, and their attitude toward customers reflected that dissatisfaction. As a paying customer, I expect a level of professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy that was completely absent...
Read moreI’m a truck driver, so I came to this TA truckstop to get a 30 minute break. Decided to get some Popeyes chicken. I got the classic, which is definitely not spicy. I got the two piece combo, dark, with macaroni and cheese and a drink. It came with a biscuit. I took pictures, to indicate the size of the pieces of chicken. Definitely no growth hormones, and that. Tasted fresh, and hot. The biscuit was loaded with butter on top. Really actually too much butter , and the macaroni cheese is very good! The honey is a honey, it’s honey sauce, with high fructose, corn syrup, and sugar amongst other things, added to it. When I looked at my receipt, after I crumbled it up, I realized it was a 50 set up charge for my mac & cheese, and then they add a food, tax, and a drink packs on top of everything else. I still...
