Country Pride — Restaurant in Marianna

I was really a fan of the place until today. Went in Today, Veteran's Day, in anticipation of a normally awesome omelette. The place was packed and understaffed. The lemonade/orange juice dispenser was broke. Ok, no problem. Waitress returns with beverages and leaves. After a while, she comes and asks if she had already taken our order, NO she hadn't. Instead of going to get her order pad, she asks for our order in an attempt to remember. She returns after a length of time and confirms my order. Bacon swiss and tomato. Reiterates the tomato. I get they were busy, that is not my issue, my issue is the piled high turkey, was of swiss and barely bacon omelette I got. With an astonished look of " how stupid are you" I told her this was a wrong order. She waved me off saying she'll take some off our bill. My husband's meal, who was spot on correct, was free as he is a vetearn, and she was going to not charge us for our soda, which neither of us wanted originally. Our total came to over $8.00. How is this poor service and Wrong order worth $8.00. Obviously I am outraged but I feel for the vets and truckers who were subjected to...

Service was very slow, steak was overcook but after speaking with Nikki the cook. I got the nastiest attitude ever, so ask for steak to be redone. Instead of getting the steak cooked correctly it was now undercooked. I just eat it.

Here's my issue. My job is already a high stress industry. The last thing I need is a stressful dinner. I will return and hope the service and food does change. But I have been to hundreds of country pride restaurants across the country. To say have been to a worse restaurant then this facility would be factually inaccurate.

Couldnt give 5 stars. ate dinner last night ordered corned beef hash, 2 eggs over medium, and hashbrowns with shredded cheddar. Was brought everything as ordered except sliced American cheese instead of cheddar. Ordered the same thing for breakfast...same result. Apparently their cooks think because we're truckers we dont deserve what we order or we wont notice the difference so they can serve us whatever slop they want. Now I'm not generally one to make a fuss but two meals in a row with the same problem...no excuse. However the service was excellent last night...decent this morning... and my wife loves the sirloin...
