We had been wanting to try this place for some time and joined with some friends who drove up from Riverview to join us. Unfortunately, our experience reflects others posted here. The service was extremely slow. We arrived at 630 and were promptly seated, but that's when things went down hill. We ordered drinks and apps. We decided to hold off on ordering dinner as we were enjoying our company and were not in a rush. Little did we know, the apps would take an hour to come out, and we only had 1 visit from our waitress in that entire hour to replenish drinks that had long run dry, and had long run dry a second time before the apps arrived. When the apps finally arrived at 730, we placed a dinner order. Once again, our waitress avoided eye contact even while passing by several times over the next hour, only stopping once to replenish drinks after a half hour, still no food. At 8 live music started. And the music was good, but extremely loud. So loud that we could not continue conversation and sat in silence with empty drinks until our patience ran out at 830. I had to leave the table and walk to the front hostess stand to let someone know we would like to see our waitress. I had to make this trip to the hostess stand twice to let them know we were needing our waitress. At 835 she finally stopped by again and at that point we were so disappointed in the loud volume, lack of drinks, lack of attention, and waiting another hour between apps and dinner that we asked to cancel our dinner order and asked for the check to settle up so we could be on our way. The manager came back to the table, I assume it was the manager, no one could hear as we all had to shout at each other over the ridiculously loud music to communicate. The manager had a print out that showed we ordered dinner at 735 and seemed confused we were upset that it was 840 and we still did not have our dinner. At that same time, the food actually came, but we sent it back. Again the manager seemed surprised we didn't want to take it to go. We ended up settling up for the few drinks we had and the apps. The manager doesn't seem to have a clue how to run a restaurant and the restaurant needs to decide if they want to be a restaurant or a night club. But the fact that she seemed perplexed by the fact that we were not happy with the 1 hour wait for apps and another hour wait for diner, lack of attention from the waitress in that time, and obnoxiously loud music, and offered no apology or offer to return, means we wont be going back. Good luck rice and beans, you're going to need it to survive on the model your running now... There are too many other restaurants near-by that aren't trying to double as night clubs, and execute well on their...
Read moreOur experience at this restaurant was unfortunately marred by subpar service, making it unlikely that we would return. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Zuhail, who initially seemed attentive but quickly became distracted by socializing with coworkers, leaving us waiting for attention. Despite our patience, it took a significant amount of time, approximately 20 minutes, for anyone to attend to us, with Paul eventually taking our drink order but clarifying that he was not our server. Zuhail's disorganization was evident from the start, as she mumbled while seating us and then became preoccupied with chatting rather than attending to our needs.
Zuhail's confusion continued as she brought out our drinks in a disjointed manner and struggled to answer basic menu questions. The service shortcomings extended to the kitchen, where there was a noticeable delay in receiving our appetizers and entrees. To our dismay, we discovered that my main course had never been ordered, even though we had waited nearly an hour since being seated. This revelation added further frustration to an already disappointing dining experience. Even when our food finally arrived, approximately 20 minutes after ordering appetizers and 35 minutes after ordering entrees, there was minimal engagement from the staff, leaving us without drink refills and unattended for stretches of time.
Despite the lackluster service, we did find one bright spot in the form of a delicious alcoholic beverage. However, this was not enough to overshadow the overall dissatisfaction with our visit. While we did express our concerns to the manager, the response felt dismissive, with a dessert offer failing to adequately address the issues at hand.
In contrast to the service, the bartender Katelyn provided exceptional service at the bar, showcasing attentiveness and professionalism. It's unfortunate that this level of service was not reflected throughout our dining experience. Overall, while the restaurant may have some redeeming qualities, the glaring service deficiencies, including the significant wait times and Zuhail's lack of attention, overshadowed any positives, leaving us with a sense of...
Read moreHad a large group for a birthday and from the beginning there were issues, they had the reservation for the wrong day. They did not disclose there was a cake fee, then sent a server that may have been new, along with another server that knew what he was doing. Every time I ordered something with the male server the new female server basically told me opposite of what was ordered. After I realized she was not catching on and carried an attitude throughout the night, I continued to place my orders with him instead. There was live music which was extremely loud because we got placed right in front of the speakers, could be because they did not have reservation correct. Then they would bring out the plates and had no idea where the food went and were trying to scream over loud live music playing. (Keep in mind nobody moved seats so there was no reason for them to not know where food went). They explained that they could not do separate checks and that we would have to individually close out. What a nightmare, they treated each person in our group like we were trying to steal something, the female server specifically. She told my friend that she was closing out that someone ordered avocados and that my friend had to go look for who it was. My friend told her that that was her job. When I went to pay she told me I had an order of Tostones, which I never ordered. They ended up charging that to another friend in the group who helped host the party and never ordered those. I explain to them that they needed to figure out a number system on who sat where when food was ordered so that when the music was being played they weren’t trying to scream out each persons order. And after all of the food and drinks that we ordered, which was a lot they should have comped five dollar Tostones, especially if they didn’t know who ordered it. It was honestly a mess as good as food was I would not go back because of the service. The birthday girl asked for a manager and nobody ever came. So disappointing. My friends who recommended the place because they had been before were also really disappointed in...
