We ordered delivery for my daughter’s birthday party. I called on Thursday to order 8 pizzas for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party at the Little Gym right in the same plaza almost. On Thursday I told them we needed them by 4:45 at the Little Gym today (this Sunday) the guy who took my order confirmed all the details so I thought we were good. 4:50 comes along and nothing. I call just to make sure everything was still good and the guy on the phone seems to have no idea what I am talking about, he hands the phone to someone else and they “seemed to know” about my order. 5:20 comes along and the pizza finally arrives. The delivery driver said they just started making the order when I called at 4:50 (5 minutes after it was supposed to have been delivered) They completely forgot about my order. When I heard that, I called back and the guy was rude as can be. Didn’t offer a refund or anything just a credit for my next order. WE WILL NEVER EVER be ordering from them again. Didn’t apologize or anything. The party was supposed to be over at 5:30 but we got the pizza at 5:20 and THEIR mess caused us to add 30 minutes on to the party which costs a lot more money. They had 2 year olds waiting for food that may have never come unless I called. I would HIGHLY suggest never giving them business again, I know my family and friends definitely won’t be. If they had seemed the least bit apologetic then it would be one thing but the guy on the phone I think was the manager could care less and was rude...
Read moreTODAY: Upgrading from * 8 months ago to ** today. Ordered an eggplant parm sub, and a side of meatballs, generous portions. Eggplant is excellent - fresh, light battered, baked - no grease. Pickup, ready in 20 minutes, piping hot. They even remembered the small cup of marinara on the side I requested. The guy(s?) (didn't catch names) friendly on the phone & in person. My 4th visit. Just moved here last year, and seldom order out, but this is now my go to place when I do. PREVIOUS review: A huge downgrade since the last order a couple months ago. This is just my 3rd experience here. And second time I ordered the Eggplant Caprese. Last time it was good w/4 pieces of both eggplant and mozzarella. This time, was only 3 of each and one of the mozz was a tiny end piece. The lettuce and especially roasted red peppers were next to nothing (half ounce of chopped pepper bits). The only thing in relative abundance was the tomatoes, which are in season,. The eggplant parm sandwich fared a bit better, stingy on the eggplant but plenty of mozz, nice roll, good sauce. I'd rate the visit as a 1* for the Caprese, a 2 - 3* for the eggplant parm, and a couple 4* for 2 previous visits, including 2 cheesesteaks that are overpriced but tasty and a good size, and a better Eggplant Caprese. The one today is...
Read moreI have been a fan of Rotelli's in delray but extremely disappointed in their lack of honesty on Friday night after ordering a Nonna's pizza. I mentioned on the phone I had a Groupon (it was for a $20 value) and I have ordered other types of pizza before, but never this one. So I looked up their menu online to confirm that's what we wanted. Nonna's pizza $17.99, okay perfect! So when I picked it up the guy at the register(maybe the owner?) Charged us $20 dollars, then proceeded to take my cc for the additional $1.38 for tax? I thought maybe I was mistaken about the price I saw and just continued with the checkout to get dinner home quickly. I double checked the menu on their website later- and sure enough I wasn't wrong. IF your prices have changed- that's YOUR responsibility as a business owner to stay on top of website, flyers, menu boards and everything else that must remain current. It's not about the extra money, it's more about business practices and now I have to double check your work your when I choose to eat with you- how is that fair to me? I don't need homework. Just...
