Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Florida

Wow.. We had high hopes because we came in around dinner time and they weren’t too busy. We’re locals, we wanted to try to stick to soemthing in our city instead of traveling to Pcola or NVR.

Salad bar wasn’t very fresh, was not kept up with. Old veggies for the salads, croutons were squishy. Sauces and everything spilled all over the place. The menu said $15 for the trio and we were charged $18. Obviously outdated dinning areas and bathrooms were not well kept. Smelled of urine and holes in the ceilings. Just gross. Plates were hot, food was cold. My friend with whom I came with got sick instantly after a bite of her own food. She had to go throw up in the bathroom and then went to the car to do it again. And now as we head home she’s still ill. She got the chicken Mac n cheese, the noodles are just 1/2’d or 1/3’d penne noodles cut up.. but the plate was super hot and the noddles were almost freezing cold. Was not told there was an extra charge for my lemonade. Then when they brought a refill they brought me tea instead of lemonade. Service while we had a nice waitress was slow and did not really stop by. When told about how our food was cold and soggy, we got a card for a free app w/entree purchase… This doesn’t not equate to that. Why would we want to visit again if it makes us sick? 9.Just left and was forced to leave an 18% tip, because there was no other option. We waited at round 5-10 minutes or so to be seated, there was 4 customers.. then waited a while for our coke appetizer combo, then our food took even longer.

Spending $100 with a forced tip.. not great. They even had a sign out front that said if soemthing was wrong we could tell them but our waitress never stopped by until after my friend had gotten sick and went outside to the car.

The visit we had this evening was very disappointing. My husband and I brought our granddaughter (2 years old) for dinner this evening, while our server was friendly, she was not very efficient. Before I proceeded, I want to say I understand dinning with a two-year-old is difficult on a normal basis. However, we sat for almost 10 minutes before ever being acknowledged at the table. Once acknowledged and drink order taken along with appetizer and food order., our order consisted of a kid sprite, 3 bar drinks, loaded potato skins, kid chicken tender, with fries, adult salad bar, and grilled bourbon chicken with mashed potatoes. Roughly 14 minutes later, we received the loaded potato skins Along with the kids chicken tender and fries. I was wondering where the drinks were, once our server saw our food had be delivered she quickly gathered drinks that were sitting at the bar with in eye sight of our table. I feel like the restaurant as a whole, did not meet minimum expectations. No team work for certain. Even the bartender watched drinks water down while waiting on the server as she herself chatted up one bar patron at the time I was privy. With no manager over seeing or checking on tables, or daily operations, however long we were onsite how is there accountability? Our server did the best to her knowledge and capability however, still fell short due to circumstances uncontrollable. Being locals, we visit this location often and technically have yet to receive an outstanding visit. We actually only come for...

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. The food was good but the service subpar.

I was seated in the bar area which is fine. However it smelled foul. The bartender was telling another guest that the smell is coming from the drains. They’ve had a plumber come in and their just waiting for upper management to approve the fix.

Back to the service. It took 15 mins for a mixed drink and 2 specialty drinks to be served. Then the server took the table who sat 10 mins after us order before ours. By this point we’ve been in the restaurant 25 mins. Both of my kids wanted a refil but only 1 of them received it and I had to ask another server to bring it to me from the bar well because our server was no where to be found.

Usually I give people the benefit of the doubt if I can see they were busy but unfortunately for him (Darian) he doesn’t get that because all he was doing was chatting a bar guest up and watching tv. I overheard another server say they were so excited that he was back. Idk what that means but having him as a server wasnt a great experience. I would have talked to management but I never saw one of those the entire 1 he 45 mins we sat there.

I put my cc on the table to hopefully indicate to him we were ready to leave 15 mins after he cleared some of the dish’s off the table and asked about dessert. We sat there for 12 mins with my cc on the table.

It’ll definitely be a long time...
